I had the same problem – living alone with my 4year old daughter. Just make sure all housework is done, enough food, milk etc in fridge. I also put all my coffe, tea, sugar, plus a couple of cups and plates out on worktops so I didnt have to stretch up high for anything. It isnt the easiest doing this not having a partner to help out, but it is most doable – with the right planning:)
I am now 7 days post op and had my first drive today, felt a little precarius – but absolutely fine
I probably could have driven before, but as in all cases – after surgery – 7 days is normal, and problem is, if anything does happen, insurance will most likely be invalid, due to post op advice etc…
