How long before you drove after ba? I had mine on Monday, unders. I drove a short journey yesterday and felt ok ( did the push n pull learner technique ).

Just wondering when you ladies got back behind the wheel. X

i was wondering about this aswell because i need to drive about 5 days after my ba. should that be okay to drive then? x

I’ve just drove today 12 days after …. But that’s cause I haven’t needed to drive chick xx

I felt ok, don’t think I could do long distance yet, 5th, 6th and reverse was a little tricky. Short distance I’m confident I can carry on safely. And I’m sure I’d b able to preform an emergency stop.

Before I went on my little trip I drove around the block a few times to see how I felt.

I’d try that first, If you don’t feel right I’d wait a bit longer. X

day 7 x

Ive been told not to drive till ive seen the nurse on my first check up x

I was told I should b ok for my check up on day 7 but didnt fancy my first drive after op to b such a long journey. Thought id start a bit earlier and work my way up to the longer distance. If I don’t feel comfortable on Monday for the check up though I won’t drive. X

My check up is at 10days, I was told no driving for a week? Do you think I’ll feel ok to drive at a week? X

I drove on day 3 just a short drive defo wasnt ready but it was my neices bday party and needed last minute bits my sister had to pull the hand break up for me and open my door!!!!

I didnt drive for 2 or 3 days after that so id say day 6/7

Putting it in 5th felt really wierd though so i use to reach over with my other hand for 5th!!!

It took me 3 weeks. I wasn’t in pain, it just pulled on my right side and made me really uncomfortable x

I was told a wk. But drove at about 9 days it was ok. Didn’t go very far n just built it up from there. Kind of drove like a learner again when turning corners I also had unders xx

I drove after 2 weeks had no need to go anywhere,but I felt fine,xx
