I did’nt drive for 2 weeks honey, but only because I did’nt need to.Some members have posted that they drove after 10 days, but just short runs,I think it depends on you as an individual, and how much movement you have at this stage without causing you pain.xxx

I’m 5days post op and drove today for first time. Just the school run though. It was fine but I have an automatic so no strain changing fears all the time. Felt ok and no pain just bit uncomfortable x

Yeah, i tried driving on day 7 but couldnt put it in reverse or 4th gear for some reason lol (luckily i only drove to my bf’s about 1 mile away lol) so i didnt bother again until day 14 and even then i had to be very careful. driving like a learner again :)

5th gear is the worst!! Beware your insurance policy may not insure you up to a week after your op! X

Oh no, another thing I hadn’t really considered. I go back to work after a week and have to drive and lift my 18mth old into his car seat for nursery. My other half was due to help but has now been forced to work half way across the country in the second week so not much I can do about it now :-( x
