So I’m six weeks post op (Wednesday as it’s after midnight now) my left boob is soft and fully dropped and my right is still higher, harder and also still has the old crease in it as both were lowered by my surgeon. The right also has rippling at the side under my armpit if I lean forward and now a little above my nipple :'( – they are still a million times better than they were before, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this, what they did or if it can be corrected really before it gets too bad xx
Hi, did you have them over or under the muscle? Also can I please add you as a friend?
Thanks
There is not a lot that can be done about rippling, as it is the weight of the implant pulling down. Some say weight gain helps but personally I don’t know anyone who has corrected rippling this way. It seems anyone can get it and its very common, I’ve known people with small implants who have got is, some with unders and some with overs. Sorry I cant help much, my advice is make sure you wear a good support bra at all times, or as often as possible even when you are sleeping x
Hi girls, thank you for your replies. Yana, I had 600 in my left and 650 in my right high profile overs, yes I will add you now 🙂 Nina I have lost a little weight since op but not much, been trying to eat more but to be honest it isn’t helping. My right even though it has the bigger implant in isn’t dropping and looks like you can still see the old crease or it hasn’t fallen into the pocket properly, or maybe it’s something else as it looks worse as time is going on instead of better. Have a look at my pic and let me know what you think. I have been wearing the marks and spencer zip front high impact one at all times, even while sleeping, only time I don’t have it on is if I’m in the shower of when I’m getting changed :-/ feeling a bit down about it now as I don’t want to have to have more surgery but also don’t want one good boob and one that looks like two in one if you get me? 🙁 xx
I noticed rippling in my left breast at side and bottom when I lean forward, theres nothing that can be done but 5 weeks after first noticing it and its not got any worse.
Can I add you please? I’m having mine on Wednesday
@clairabell i just looked at your pics and it looks like youve bottomed out :-/ google it and you will see what I mean, I could be wrong though. When is your next post op appointment?x
Laura – I noticed it too about three weeks PO, I’m glad yours hasn’t gotten any worse, mine has since then 🙁 but it’s not terrible and only when I lean over. Alexis no problem I will add you now 🙂 Nina – That’s what I thought it looked like too! What would happen if that was the case? I have been using the johnsons skin perfecting oil instead of bio oil as it gave me spots :-/ I have my six week check with the nurse next week (when I’ll be seven weeks) xx
Yer mines only when I lean over so doesent bother me.
Just took a look at ur pics and dus look like uve bottomed out, I dont know wgat happens with that.
@clairebell you might need pocket revision hun x
Thanks girls, I put a picture on this morning so you could see what’s going on. The left leans into the middle of my chest and the right just points straight out, higher and has that crease :-I seeing the nurse in Wednesday and will then find out when I see surgeon and see what he says. May fix itself, or I may just be too optimistic lol, even rippled and odd I still smile because they couldn’t be any worse than before xx
because up till now you have been wearing a bra your implants haven only just had a chance to be free and be able to drop it can take up to 12 weeks post op for implants to drop and can take up to a year for them to settle into there final look hope this helps i was under the impression it was just 6 weeks of waiting untill i spoke to the surgeon xx
Fingers crossed then 🙂 xx
Sometimes they can lower crease too, your be ok hun. Good luck when you see nurse wed, hope you get positive news x
I had both my creases lowered Nina to accommodate the implants and so I wouldn’t need an uplift, thank you I will keep you updated 🙂 xx
I also think I may have bottomed out. Ive just posted about it. I see surgeon in just over a week.
Keep me updated please Laura on what he says, hope it all goes well for you. I went to Boux avenue today and got measured by a lovely girl, I’m a 36G!!!! Happy!!!! 🙂 xxx
I changed my avatar Laura so you can see how they look in one of the bras I got yesterday. Wasn’t expecting them to be that big but over the moon 🙂 hope you get good news when you see mr Traynor, look forward to hearing about it xx
They look great, wish mine were close together but I knew that wasnt gonna happen starting off barely an A cup.
Mine aren’t close together but they push together nicely in a push up bra. The ultimo gel ones are good and they go up to a G cup xx
Can I ad you please I am like 7 weeks post op do not know what rippling is but what you have described sounds very similar to what I have! Xx
Of course 🙂 I haven’t got a picture of my rippling as I can’t get the angle to take the pic but have a look at my other pics xx
Just a quick update… I saw the nurse today (she’s so nice) and she told me that both of my boobs have dropped even though the right one is still higher and looks like it’s bottomed out, she’s advised me to speak to the surgeon about my concerns and especially about the hollow area in my left boob where the bruising and swelling was as she could also feel it 😮 fingers crossed! Xx
