Dropping – how long between boobs did they drop?

Am 3 weeks post op today, my left boob started dropping after about a week and a half, i know that the boob on your strong side will be later, but how much later? My right boob is being v naughty and refusing to budge. How long do you think before it catches up???

theres not a certain time period hun it differs per person, you just need to give it time and be patient xx

Oh crap, impatient is my middle name! One side looks same as it did straight after op, had hoped I’d be seeing a difference by now! Especially now my boobs don’t match lol!

There was probably 3-4 weeks between mine dropping x

Ooh, that makes me feel better, at least I now it won’t be months! Thanks hon, I’ve been so good with not lifting arms, heavy things, taking it easy and hoped that would encourage faster healing, no such luck!

My last one to drop was the smaller of the two to start with, dont know if that matters!x

kezza mine smaller one took longer too, it was around 5/6 weeks before my right caught up xx

Thanks girls, my smaller one has gone first but it’s looking bigger and had a lower incision so that may be why? At least I know this is normal time and I’m not lagging behind! x x

babes, ring your nurse if worried. My PC called me today coz she saw one of my posts on here regarding the same concern… im left handed but my left is dropping, not right.

remember that we paid alot of money for our babies… and that an all round nurse care is there for profession advise on your personal concern.

Funny the nurse has done that for me about something else too, really nice that they keep an eye on things, what did your nurse say? My left started making noises before it dropped and my right hasn’t done that yet, it’s the naughty twin!

I’m three weeks post op and can honestly say I can not notice any difference between my right or my left. Do they always drop at different times? Could it be that neither of them have dropped yet? xx

you’re lucky mjoynson… yeah, we all heal differently… apparently have to class them as two seperate operations.x

i’m 11 weeks post op and mine still haven’t dropped they are really soft and natural feeling but still really high, been told i have to wear my breast band till xmas!! and see my ps again in january he told me that my chest musscle was really thick and that is why it’s taking so long.xx

It is a problem for them to be high? I don’t think I would mind! Would look great in a boob tube dress x

they are high and my natural breast tissue is below and my nipples are v low not very attractive, in clothes i look like i’m wearing a push up bra when i’m not wearing anything and have to wear nipple daisies to stop them looking deformed!lol! i still love having boobs and just hope they will settle in time xx
