Hi girls,
So such an embarrassing problem but my cleveage keeps really smelling of cheese! I’m washing them every day and just wiped over with a wet wipe. I’m using sanex 0% to wash in and wearing a Macom bra and alternating a clean one every day! I don’t feel really hot and sweaty. I showered before bed and I’ve just gine to change my bra and the smells there already. What’s going on any idea? My stitches don’t smell and it’s definitely coming from my cleveage. Any body else suffered with this highly embarrassing problem?! I’m 18 days post op 🙁 xx
Hi Amy, maybe its the Sanex? I’m using that at the moment too and usually I’m a bit of a soap freak, I use so much scented shower gel and I have to smell nice or I don’t get out of the shower until I do lol and I’ve noticed the Sanex actually smells quite gross. My cleavage doesn’t smell, but maybe its your skin’s reaction to the Sanex? x
@harriet thank you for your reply! I’m so embarrassed!! I’m not a sweaty person in the slightest. I actually have such dry skin so I find it really weird! I was wondering if it could be the sanex but the smell was there before I could even shower and use the sanex which I thought was just because I hadn’t had a good old scrub in the shower for 2 weeks and had just been flannel washing. I’ll try just water tonight as I don’t think allowed to use anything else yet. I’m a bit concerned there could be an underlying yeast infection there somehow! X
Strange one?! A cheesy smell would indicate more of a yeast/fungal infection as apposed to sweat. I’d maybe ring the nurse. How to the incisions look? Are you feverish or your boobs hot to touch?
Could just be the sanex you can use simple so maybe try that? Xx
Amy babe i had similar lol!!! I thought it was where my incisions were! I could smell it even after a shower, no idea what it was but its cleared off for good now, im almost 8 weeks PO xxx
@Samantha my god you don’t know how much of a relief it is for somebody to say they had similar!! I have to say it’s been fine since I’ve washed again this afternoon so I’m hoping it doesn’t come back. It’s so unpleasant and embarrassing!! I’m pleased it’s gone for you now. I hope mine goes and stays away! X
