Ordering my macom this week. Ive got dry shampoo and a v pillow. What other things will I really need or find usefull? x

Dry shampoo u just rub in2 ur hair and leave it in. Its instead of washin it hun. After ba gna b a bit difficuly 2 wash hair so just make do with some dry shampoo until u can manage it. V pillow u can get in argos. They r literally a v shape. To help with sleepin upright x x

Yeah anywhere like that. I got mine from ebay. A tigi one is smells amazing Yeah V pillows are a must. Sleeping upright dosnt sound like fun so the more pillow the better. Whens ur op hun. Im on the 24th. x

I would suggest ear plugs too [when you sleep upright you can hear everything!] and take a laptop with you too the hospital so you can watch tv catch up as daytime tv sucks.

Palmer’s cocoa butter. I started using this the day after my op as I have no bandages on. It’s really taken away the strain on the stretching skin.

Lucozade Sports, they are great to keep you hydrated after the op.

Im also taking Manuka Honey 15+. It has an anti bacterial agent in it. 1 spoonful a day.

I had my BA on tuesday. I took some squash with me, after fasting and GA its really lovely to drink something flavoured! Also, I would get the V pillow from Dunelm, its really supportive and only £9.00! they also have a selection of pillow cases.

Wet wipes are also useful x

dry shampoo is the future I love it plus a tip dry shampoo your hair then put hair spray on it keeps your dry shampoo on all day and keeps it looking washed. I need front fastening PJS anyone any tips were to get some from!!!

defo take lots of fluids, i was so de-hydrated after felt like i had been out on the town for 3 days solid!! lol xx
