Every morning!!!!???

Ok I have just woke up on POD6 and every single morning I wake up and they are so painful they tend to settle after ibruprofen and walking around but it’s just horrible!!! How long does this last? Is it normal to be more sore in the morning? X

Do you have a strap on Kay? I think it might be that for me. I have my first week appointment on wed and will be asking if I can take off for a bit for a break xo

No I just have the macom, and it’s X-small cos I have tiny ribs so it’s tight! I have my one week appt tomorrow too so I’ll ask then. Thanks Julie X

KayP I was advised not to take ibuprofen 10 days before and19 days after as it can cauae bleeds, I haven’t had my op yet so I could have heard wrong but if you are taking them I’d just double check it’s okay. I hope you both get less pain soon. I’m dreading it and I’m hearing until the muscle is the most painful, eeek! X

Hi mine do the same I am po day 7…. had my week check yesterday and got told it’s totally normal… weirdly they feel better now I have had the dressings removed and am just wearing steristrips 🙂 bit bruised and because the muscles knitting back together they r sore. One of mine has started to drop yay… just want my leftie to catch up! The band is doing my head in but I have to keep on with it… I can actually see a shape starting to form which is really nice. Loving them regardless of the pain…. I find paracetamol does enough to get rid of it and also moving lol xxx hope u feel better soon xxx

Hey, yes it’s completely normal don’t worry!! “Morning boob” lasted quite a while for me unfortunately but it wasn’t as bad after about a week I think xx

Im still struggling with this too hunny… its horrific. So much so that i hate going to bed at night because i dread getting up in the morning. Iv had to stop taking ibuprofen as was getting nose bleeds. Alot of girls have been given ibuprofen ncluding myself as it was prescribed by the hospital/Dr Traynor so must be ok.

Thanks everyone, I feel a bit better knowing others have been the same! Maybe I’ll just try paracetamol for the rest of the day maybe. ‘Morning boob’ I now understand what people were talking about!

@KayP .. How are you today now your up & about?? Im having a really bad day pain wise. Are you still in pain?? My Right breast seems so so sore still!!! Does the top of your implants or implant really hurt at the top?? Dont know wbats wrong as i was finw yesterday. Untill i had my dressings changed and cleaned and went for a new sports bra fitting. The woman was abit rough with me.. really worrying today. Had to take some pain relief today as not been on it for 2 days as had to stop but i had to some. You already know im a wimp but want reassurance. Xxx

Hiya Rachel, my right is hurting more than my left too today! I’m still on pain killers and keep getting the shivers I’m very up and down but every day gets better! It’s my 1WPO tomorrow night so I’m going to ask about the shivers! The tops are quite sore and I’m still not using my arms very well either but that’s where they’ve gone under the muscle so I’m trying not to worry over that too much. As long as they look a similar size (one not more swollen than the other) and they’re nt red and hot I wouldn’t worry too much! But don’t be worried about ringing the clinic and speaking to a nurse xx
