Is the pain really that bad?!
My mum had a BA and she seemed fine!
Is it just people reacting bad to the anaesthesia? I’ve had operations before and been fine after but these posts are really starting to scare me!!

Personally I was abso fine. Thought I was one of the lucky ones as lots of posts I read pre op were really off putting regarding girls pain after! Im 4 weeks post op now and still no major pains at all. Let’s just say I would happily choose a BA over c-section any day lol x

Some people handle pain different, I am petrified too after a few posts hHaha but I’ve had 3 kids no pain relief and gallstones so anything less than that I’m happy with 😉 xx

Everybodys different Hun. I’m such a baby & was terrified had a couple of days where it hurt if i sat up or lay down.. Couldn’t sleep proply as sitting up. But i had it on the Friday & by the Monday i was doing the washing & walking about 20 mins up the road (to Asda) haha. Don’t let other peoples experiences put u off. I don’t think its pleasant for anybody but some people suffer loads & some don’t!! Either way itll all be worth it babe. Xx

I am reading them too which is making me a little worried but like Kate I have had 2 children both with just gas and air and if I could handle that pain I know I canget through this.
Yes I’m sure it will hurt and be uncomfortable but if it’s worth it then I think that’s enough to get me through the other side. 🙂

Mine was fine I had unders. I was driving day 2 I also have 4 children and was able to care for them. Everybody is different. I’m a right girl the thought of what pain I had coming made me queasy but it was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be xx

I had unders and apart from some restrictive arm movements during the first 1-2 weeks, I was lucky and didn’t have any pain as such just discomfort really and didn’t take much pain killers either apart from the first day or 2 just as a precaution. At 2 weeks I was able to do everything myself but I was up and about from the first few days to be honest and headed out to go shopping etc. everyone’s different though but definitely wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It can be a bit if an emotional roller coaster at times though…for me it certainly was during the first week.

I didn’t have any pain really just difficult to move around properly, I was sick on day three and had a bit of pain at about two weeks but other than that its been very smooth, it just differs from person to person xx
