I was told you cant do any exercise for 6 weeks after but you can walk as much as you want from day 1! I do a lot of exercise normally so i will be walking every day! Just dont push yourself and listen to your body, so if u need to stop, stop. xx

Yep I was told the same. I had my op on Thursday and didn’t feel like doing anything at all yesterday but have been up and about on my feet today so far. Lack of exercise is going to be very difficult, I am determined not to become a cabbage! x

I went back to thw gym at 3.5 weeks post opp, but did alot of walking from the day I had my opp, when I went bk to the gym I took my times and gradually increased the intensity of.my.sessions each week, I done light cardio to start with and a few light weights xx

I was walking around from day 2,I think it depends on how you feel, but always follow your post op instructions,if they advise no strenuous exercise for 6 weeks, these guidelines have been put in place for a reason, they are the experts after all, that was the worst part of the op,not been able to exercise as normal when you are generally and active person.xxx
