i know your meant to exercise for 6 weeks post op… but surely theres something i can do, apart from walking of course, which wont cause any damage.
Any suggestions?
i know i was wondering that, especially when are we able to raise our hands above our heads? i sometimes forget and stop myself in time.

Mr Adamo told me at my consultation that I could start pole dancing again after 3 weeks if I felt ready. I had an attempt last night and could do the pole moves that don’t involve the use of the chest muscles. Didn’t think I’d be able to and won’t go back to training daily until I’m 6-8 weeks post op. Not sore at all today x
When you say your can’t lift your arms up for ages – is it just because it hurts or because you may bust a stitch or do some damage? x
it does hurt lifting ur arms up at 1st, but then it doesnt… not sure how long ur not meant 2 lift them up 4… i think when it doesnt hurt u can
, and its not ages.. i feel quite comfortable lifting my arms above my head now, and im 17days post op, and i have been kinda comfortable since about 11 days. I couldnt before because it hurt

i just dont wanna do any damage… do any of u think ill damage myself by doing situps? xx
I’m dreading not being able to excercise!!
Booked in on 14th May with Mr Singh and run pretty much every day – it keeps me sane, ha!! Not sure what I’m going to do after the op not being able to run for about 6-8 weeks!! Having unders as well so longer healing time! Will just be going on very long walks I think and the excercise bike at the gym, ha!
Be good to hear how other girls have got on with excercising etc and how long they have waited to get back to it etc x
well i had unders hun, and im almost 4weeks post op, so ill let u know when i get back 2 exercising xx
I had 230cc unders, was back to the gym after a week. Can’t recommend running tho!!!
lol. Sit ups were fine and cycling can be done. Am 6 weeks post op now and can pretty much do everything now i could before. xx
