    Hey girls,

    I’m currently 11 days post op and am obviously banned from vigorous exercise until after 6 weeks. However about 2 weeks after my 6 week post op date I’m off to Africa and need to lose weight to be seen in a bikini!! Any suggestions of what exercise I can do to help that won’t harm my recovery? I don’t tend to lose weight from just dieting, exercise works far better for me.

    I’m grateful of any suggestions!!!

    I’m not sure but maybe jogging and sit ups. Ask at your next check. Lucky you, off to Africa, have fun! :) x

    Far as im aware u can build up ur exercise after 6wk check long as ur surgeon gives u the all clear x

    Thanks girls. But between my 6 week check and the holiday there is less than 2 weeks, so I need to be doing stuff now!! But I don’t want to do anything that will harm my recovery…

    Get some Shape Up trainers (either Sketchers for about £75-90 or Reebock for slightly less, if you’re lucky you can pick some up from Lidl for £20) and do lots of gentle walking, am afraid it’s the long way round but it’s better than doing yourself a mischief! x

    Oooh, that’s a good idea smallen. I did think lots of walking may be the safest thing. Either that or maybe I should now invest in some of that laser lipo MYA keep advertising?!?! Xx

    Loool. Just go for long fast speed walks. Buy them vibrating toning pads zzzzzhhhhssss lol xx

    hey, hun i went back the gym after 4 weeks but only went on the sit down bike no upper exercise, xxx

    I asked the nurse if it was cool to wear one of those electric muscle zapper-toner things and she said no worries as long as it’s not on very high. x

    walk fast for 3 min then walk normal for 3 mins do this for about 30 min speed you heart rate then drop it also walk on a incline fat burner hope this helps hun dont do anything that hurt boobies r more worth it xx
