Heeeey girly,

I got measured at 5wks po 32D,

Now at 9wks that felt tight and a 32E fit me then so i wore that!

now at 11wks my nips are popping out and dont feel comfy so measured myself as im bit concious bout scars!

I measure 28“ under bust (little under) and 35“ over boooobbbiiieeees

What size does that make me?!

No idea, I am 28 and 32 which is apparently 32a but def don’t look it. Going by that I would say 32d but that doesn’t sound right. x

That measures u as a 32d backsize if u measure an even number u add 4 to get backsize if odd number u add 5 then measure round bust if u measure same as backside ur an A 1 inch is a B 2 inch is C and so on implants measure diff to natural boobs so it’s whatever fits best really xx

Measuring Guide

To check your bra size, you need only take two measurements which are:

1. Underbust Measurement

Measure under your bust and:

add 4ins. if the measurement obtained is an even number of inches or

add 5ins. if the measurement obtained is an odd number of inches.

(For example, if your underbust measurement is 31ins., add 5ins. to obtain bra size 36, or, if your underbust measurement is 30ins. add 4ins. to obtain bra size 34.)

2. Overbust Measurement

Measure round the fullest part of your bust to determine cup size.

If the bust measurement is:

same as your bra size, your Cup size is A.

1in. more gives Cup size B

2in. more gives Cup size C

3in. more gives Cup size D

4in. more gives Cup size DD

5in. more gives Cup size E

and so on through F, FF and G

An example:

Underbust measurement of

29in. + 5in. = bra size 34

Overbust measurement of

34in. = Cup A

So the correct fitting would be 34A

What should a correctly fitted bra look like?

•Cups – breasts should be comfortably encased in the cups with no bulging or gaping at the top or the sides. Wires should lie flat against the rib cage and not dig in.

•Band – this should be level all the way round, not riding up at the back.

•Straps – these should run parallel at the back and not dig in to the shoulders.

What should a correctly fitted bra feel like?

You should not be able to feel the wires when you move around and touch your toes. If you stretch your arms towards the ceiling, the wires should not dig in when you bring your arms back down to your sides.

These notes aim to provide a general indication of your bra size. However, the best guide is a bra you already wear which is comfortable.

Please also bear in mind that sizes do vary between manufacturers and between different styles of bra.

In addition please note that the older you are, the more generous you may need to be when you measure yourself.

It’s all very confusing. I personally would only rely on getting a couple of professional measurements taken.

I was measured at Bravissimo and La Senza and both said 32FF. I’m happy with that!!

e.g. I am 28 round the back and another 7 (35) around my bust. Therefore I am 32FF.

That way of calculating ya boobie size dosnt work when you have fake ones girls because you are fuller on the top of ya bust.

ooo ive just dun this test at work with string and a ruler (so organised in my office lol) i usually wear a 34b but today im in my super boost bra… and i measure 34.1 inch under my bra, and around the fullest part 37inch which is a d cup….sooo in my padded air boost bra i must look a 34d !!! yay lol roll on sept when i dont need to wear it any more!! x

oh n fairy acording to what ur measurements are 28inch and 35inch ud be a 28FF! 35 inch is 7 inches bigger then 28 so on claires guide thingy its FF or 30F if u go up a back size down a cup size etc xx

You should not be getting a 28 bra. 28 inches equates to size 32.

For example, I measure 30 inches under my boobs and at a size 12 there is no way I could get in that a 30 bra! I wear 34/36.

I put your measurments into la senza’s online measurement guide and it says your 32D

Bonz- there is a difference of 7 between her under bust and over bust, for every 1 difference its a cup size x

Wow have you not even gone to get measured yet? How have you had the willpower lol I’m dying to do it already!! To be honest I think the shops always measure bigger – I remember getting measured a 34 B years ago but doing it online before my op I was coming up at about 34 AA! I would imagine the shops are more accurate as the assistants know what they’re doing xx

I was measured at 5wks as a 32D, but that felt tight as by week 9, so tried a 32DD still too tight, bought an E which was fine, now its too tight!

For som reason now i have developed a shyness bout getting measured!! Sounds daft but i have!

I really should go do it, as im not cumfy at all xxx

If you do go and get measured, once they’ve measured you get a bra to try on and get them to check the fitting on you xxx

l was told by Ann summers that they do not add 4inches as u would not wear ur bra under ur armpit. 4 inches are added as this is the biggest part of ur back. Hope this makes sense. x

pmsl ok jus put my measurements into la senza n it ses a 32B!! haha a 34C bra gives me mega double boobage so either im measuring wrong or la senzas size guide is wrong lmao 😆
