false nails- why can't you wear them for your ba?

Hi i am getting Gel nails done, but then heard that you can’t wear them during your ba. why? i don’t understand its your nails they don’t get in the way. I no hair exstensions are fine so why aren’t nails lol. so sorry for going on girls

its so that they can monitor how you are doing in surgery, they monitor things like the colour of your nails to check you are ok

so whatever you do make sure you take them off before you go xx

Peaches is right, they have to be able to see your nail colour while your under so varnish and fakes are a no no, they will def make you take them off along with any jeweelry or body peircing, sorry!! xx

Hey! Yeah i was in the same position but yes you need to take them off simply because they monitor you and press your fingernails to check your circulation. Its for your own good, plus they won’t operate on you if you have it on, so make sure u remove all nail varnish and nails x x x
