false nails\nail varnish

hi girls, I know we have to remove false finger nails for ba but what about toe nails? totally forgot about it n had gel n paint put on my toes this weekend will I need to remove it? xx

I think you will need to get them removed, Ipthey ask and check before you go down xxx

dont have to remove false nails just polish i had my acrylics on for my BA

You don’t have to remove toes, but your fingers you do (they need to see your natural nail bed for oxygen flow etc…) xx

What? Are you girls serious? I was phoned and told to take my acrylic nails off and nail varnish from toes.. xx

took mine off now. I’m guna feel a right tramp, no make up n no nails! x

I put stick on ones on as I can’t live without my nails, I can’t operate anything, so when mine came off I used the glue on nails and pinged them off last thing the night before. I’ll be doing the same for my re-op too xx

I had the same dilemma last week & I removed It all myself the night before. When I got to the hospital the nurse told me I only needed to remove two on the feet, which would have made it much easier as its so hard to remove gel!
