Fed up!!!

Seriously getting fed up with my boobs I think I’m healing then keep getting openings and the smell I’m not in Pain just generally fed up my right boob has now started to get a opening when I thought it was healed iv nothing on my right boob no plasters nothin I’m not sure if that can affect it or make it worse I’m trying to be positive but it’s really gettin me down and just keep stressing over the scars because my left boob has quite a large opening it’s been 4wks plus since my op and I knw it’s still early days but I just keep gettin told it’s normal and have to go to see the nurse every other day which in trains costs me a small fortune so near to Christmas it’s not helping me finances plus I’m always having to arrange child are which isn’t easy I’m starting to wish I never bothered and thinkin there never gonna heal anyone else had this and did they do anything to speed up the healing of my wounds any advice I’d appreciate it x

Sorry to hear your having such a bad time 🙁 me and my sis had ours done at the same time 5 weeks a go and she had a similar problem to you. She had to keep going back and forward to the nurse. She went on Monday and it’s finally made progress and seems to be healing. Only thing I can suggest is make sure you’re having a high protein diet as that helps the wounds close and heal quicker. My sister had a plaster put on by the nurse covering her which stopped anything rubbing too so maybe ask if she can put something on it? Hope it gets better soon xx

hey hun! be patient! i had an opening on week 6! im 2 months post op and im still wearing sports bras. every now and then i use a cotton pad with hydrogen peroxide. dunno where to get it here in the uk. i bought it in Venice on my holiday cuz i knew id need it to clean the scars from bacteria. My mum has always used this method on me when i was a kid on cuts and scars lol its normal to “fizz” and burn a little when u apply it but its a good thing cuz its killing the bacteria. My scars are healing nicely , even tho i still got the stitches sticking out but thats normal lol as it takes time for them to dissolve. they might sell it on ebay! 🙂 trust me it does miracles!! xxx

Hey girls I’m one week post and the nurse took my strips off and cleaned me up and said I was ok to have showers and just said dry them strips with clean towel then last night had showers went dry my strips and there was none there and now my stiches have opend il pop a pic up if anybody would like to take a look and let me know they think x

Thanks girls it’s just getting tiring having to watch how I sleep and be careful that I knock them I’m so worried over the littlest things I guess it’s all normal I’m just a worrier and the fact it doesn’t smell the best got me paranoid my right boob has been abit painful since having a Alex as well and it opened a little as well so you have the same concern as me as I was told I could shower 2 also my nipple is so sore and sensitive can touch it but my left nipple I have no feelin I just want a decent nights sleep and be able to sleep like I use to but I’m so scared in gonna stretch my opening and make it worse xx

Hey huni I had my uplift / 385/415cc nearly 3years ago it’s big thing an uplift not nice at wot meds are you ? Plus you really need to keep them clean the scarring the 1st time I saw it was so bloody grim i hated them my anuite got brest cancer and had both of them takin off and she told me for the scarring soon as scabs are starting it come off get E45 cream and two fingers firmly rub the cream in small circler montions along the scaring this helps smooths out the scarring inside and out I did this morning night and scarring was so good how u cleaning your scarring ? Xx

Hi Hun I was told not to touch just shower and let the water run my scars aren’t bad at all it’s just my openings where some stitches are but because they smell it’s worrying me x
