fed up this this nose rubbish, just want to be normal again

I am sorry to moan, im only 2 weeks PO and have completely had enough. I cant go anywhere without feeling like im going to pass out, my nose is constantly running and iv even been blowing snot bubbles….delightful! i cant breathe and i look like iv been punched a few times in the face. And on top of that iv got a weird bump by my nose…. fan bloody tastic. Oh and my skin has errupted in spots as well.

I want my old nose back, I cant be dealing with this for the next 6 months. I look and feel like complete sh**

Honey you could never in a million years look s**t,you even look super glam in your cast,stick with it honey,now you don’t want your old nose back or you will have to go through all this again,Im sick of the bubbles too,but they will dry up,and my nose is whistling a tune all by itself,you will be fine honey,you are just having a down day,it will bet better and you will love the way you look,its only been a couple of weeks honey,stick with it,your new nose will be amazing.xxx

All the pain n grief will b worth it in the end! Jus stick on in there n ule soon b happy that u got ur nose done. Its normal 2 feel fed up n wonder y u had the surgory in the first couple of weeks! It 100% goes! Xx

Babe we all feel like it… I’m 4 weeks post op and I’ve totally had enough, my nose now hurst inside cos I think a scan has come loose… Yuk! Lol it’s swollen, puffy, I can’t put any proper make up on, my top lip feels really wired, my whole nose feels even weirder and my skin on my nose is flaking like a snake it’s horrible..On top of this , my nose is now looking lop sided, one side of the nostril is more swollen than the other it looks F*cked.. It’s hard to believe this is all worth it but hang on in there, well get there in the end xx

Thanks everyone, its just so tiring, I feel like such a drama queen but I just feel like iv been living with all this crap for ages and I only had my cast off on Friday!!!! Everytime I think im starting to like it, I go back to hating it again.

Haha tina my nose hasn’t started whistling yet…but another thing to add to the list of things to look forward to lol.

Sophs I am defo experiencing the same, my top lip doenst even move when I talk and I laugh like a complete weirdo. My nose also feels weird and my skin is slowly flaking off, and it feels dry and scaley (YUCK)and also my pores are so clogged…when do you reckon I can squeeze them or use those nose strips???

I know obviously the surgeon is there to talk about the operation etc, but I think some pointers on what to expect after surgery would be helpful, I didn’t actually think it would be this bad. I cant really even go out as my nose just runs and runs and I look like a disgusting snotty weirdo with my nose bubbling and running. xxxx

Sorry georgiajxx,but you do make me smile,you look totally stunning,how can you look like a snotty weirdo,all I can say is it will get better honey,in a few weeks you’ll be so happy,and this will all be behind you.xxx

i actually can relate to all of the above and i thought i was the only one feeling like this i,m 3 weeks post op and i just miss ma old nose so much and each time i have a shower i get a bad fever and feel so light headed and wanna collapse just dont know what else to say anymore just fed.up.com x hows everybodys swelling and i can smell a weird smell i dont know if its 4m the nose and yea georgia i know wat u mean bout the pore strips

I was way over 6 months b4 I put a pore strip on my nose. I was so scared lol! N it took a year 4 all the swelling 2 go n 4 me 2 properly love my nose, altho 2 me anyfin was an improvement 2 my old hooter!! X

God a whole year! I feel like a wax work at Madame Tussaud’s at the mo. nose looks and feels stuck on. I’m going to have such bad skin if I wait 6 months. Keep feeling new little bumps on my nose, I now have 2 fml xxx
