Feel awful :(

Day 2 And threw up 3 times, not lots but a bit!

Crampy, I can’t really comment yet as i am still pre-op but i really hope you feel better soon.

I felt sick as a dog and dizzy through the night but im ok now was not sick though. I think it is perfectly normal hun as long as your not in to much pain xx

it could be your meds. give your nurse a ring to let her know.xxx they’ll give the best advice.

ps, the worst for me at that point was the dizziness.xx

Thanks ladies, after posting this test I spoke with the nurse and oh the shame threw up whilst she was on the fone!

She did advise to come off the meds, I then slept until half 5, sobbed when i woke as u felt sorry for myself (i was in my own all day so was scared, so when the man got home he had a mini meltdown to deal with) then had a small drink and toast finally kept sumthing down.

I also moved from bed to the settee as the bed was agonising on my back, the mum in law fetched me a hot water bottle for the back which made it a bit easier. I then fell asleep around 9pm ish until 7 am this morning Hoorah!!

The sick feeling has gone so fingers crossed it was just the meds however I can’t help but worry if iv hurt my wounds from all the heaving from yesterday xxxx

Crampy you will be fine,its surprising how resilient the body is,make sure you eat little and often,plenty of fluids if you can,and rest,the sickness will have taken it out of you,so try to rest honey,take one day at a time.xxxx

Thanks Tina my fairy god mother had a little toast this morning and been sipping ribena quite often, have swapped the painkillers for ibuprofen so hopefully shud start getting some energy back soon xxx
