I am 6 days post op and although Im in love with my amazing new boobies, I feel miserable… I am still very bloated even though I finished my course of tablets 2 days ago so I have a huge flabby belly to match my boobs. I also went back to work yesterday but really struggled so I have been ordered to take the week off. I should be happy but Jeremy Kyle is boring and Im not ready to venture out of the house yet. The thing is, im still in pain… On the night of my op day, when I got into the car to come home, I pulled the car door shut with a bit too much force and feel a pull. I was full of painkillers so i didnt really notice it but I can definitely feel it now! :(

Aww sounds like we are all in the same boat which is reassuring I guess. I feel like a big fat whinger now as I don’t even have kids so I can’t imagine how you yummy mummy’s must feel! I am taking paracetamol which is taking the edge off and I have my post op appt with the nurse tomorrow so I’ll see what they say. I’m worried that coz of how bloated I am that I’ve put weight on as all I’ve done is sit on my ass and eat!

    Good luck tomorrow khanni! Xx

    Hey ladies,

the bloating is due to the codine in the pain meds. It causes constipation and bloating. Call your nurses and ask if you can take laxatives. it really helps. Eat lots of fresh fruit and veg and keep very well hydrated. the more water you drink the easier it will be to get your bowels moving.

Your body uses water from your “food” to aid in the digestive operations…the less water the drier everything is the harder it is to poop and the more bloated you get.

I hope you all feel better soon! I promise it goes away! xxx

Aww Linzi hope you are ok.x

Maybe you need to go out even if only fir a quick walk. I know it is a massive effort but am sure sone fresh air will help, being stuck in ge house is very depressing.

I did it yesterday! Feel awful today but you were right in everything you told he, thank you soo muchx Hope you don’t mind me asking you a quick question, did you wear a bra afterwards? As I forgot to ask bur have been told thar Mr Adamon likes to leave them to settle on their own so not sure what to do.

    Thinking of you.xx

Aw hey verynervouslady! was just thinking of you and sent you a msg! Im all good now and had my plasters taken off yesterday at my post op appt with the nurse. All is healing well and my scars are awesome- well not awesome that I have scars but they look great and perfectly in the crease! Well done Mr adamo- Genious!!

In regards to bra, I tried to wear my sports bra but it was so uncomfortable! I have been bra-less for the week but will wear one when I go back to work as will feel weird without it!

Also have been showering everyday and that was fine too. Mr Adamos girls can do that coz he uses waterproof plasters!

Feeling heaps better and now sleeping flat in bed too! AAH! Had the best night sleep ever!!! xx
