Feeling miserable ; (

7 days post op today, still in loads of pain. Got weird pains going down my legs and back too (not sure it’s from sleeping upright) feel like I’m taking ages to recover, know it’s only a week but feel the same as I did day 2? Got a 15 month old that just wants his mummy and I can’t see to him like I want to. Just feeling crappy ; ( anyone got pain in one armpit too?

Did u have unders or overs babe? Pain should subside after 14 days. U taking all the pain releif u can? Hugs xxx

Hey hun I had mine on Monday and yeah I’ve got pain in my under arms and can’t lift them very far, plus I need help sitting up in the morning and all the muscles tense right up. Try asking your doctor for a muscle relaxer like diazepam, although it is a sedative so will make you a bit sleepy but it can help relieve the tightness xx

Good shout on the diazepam, had some off a friend for first few days but ran out. I’ll ring doctors on Monday. I have diclofenac here(anti inflammatory) do you think they might help? Just so fed up with it now, hope you recover soon too xx

It’s my 30th Birthday party two weeks today so hoping they’ve dropped and causing me less pain by then! X

Anti inflammatories will help yeah cos they get rid of swelling but I personally think it’s the muscle tightness causing all the pain so diazepam is definitely the most helpful. Try both xx
