Feeling unsure about it all :(

Had my consultation with Helena yesterday and i’ve been feeling really worried about it all since. It felt as though my appointment was rushed, and i was pretty nervous so i couldn’t even think of any questions to ask and now i’m not sure i even chose the size i wanted!

Helena only let me try one size which was 290cc, i wanted to try smaller ones but she said they wouldn’t fit me, and it just seemed as though she had only actually brought one size with her or something! She has also given me low profiles because i said i wanted to look natural, but i’m only a 32 chest and i feel like everyone else my size has been getting high profiles!

I know she is an experienced surgeon and i should probably just trust her judgement and stop worrying about it, but she just didn’t really put me at ease. She spent a lot of time talking about my diet (i’m vegetarian) and how i’m probably going to have iron deficiency, but i know what to eat and i wanted to talk about my boobs!!

Anyone else feel a bit like this after theirs?

This happened to me when I had my consultation last month, I left feeling really rushed as if my op wasn’t really a major thing for them when it’s huge to me. Ring your patient coordinator and re-arrange another consultation with them to ask any thing you want. I did and felt so much better afterwards! Don’t go into it if you’re unsure about anything or uncomfortable, make sure you have all the answers you need xx

Maybe you should meet another surgeon ? Mario didn’t make me feel like that but it’s also ok to be nervous but its your money so you never should feel like your surgeon is just pushing ou around .. There may be a very good reason she only recommended that size but doesn’t look like she gave that reason xx

Yeah that is what i felt like, just another patient or something and my feelings didn’t matter! My pc is supposed to be ringing me today so i’m going to talk to her about it. Thinking of booking a consultation with a different company atm

Hey chloe sorry to hear this hun, why not ask to see a different surgeon, I had Mr kazzazi and am so Happy with my consultations I had 3 with him lol and He was so good in each 1 of them, he’s such a proffesional and listens to what you would like and then says Wot He thinks would be good, gives you the time to ask any questions and He is very well known for the natural look. It’s a big thing at the end of the day and u need to be at ease with ur surgeon so don’t settle until u find the 1 for you. Good luck hun xx

Sorry to hear that Hun, maybe you should see someone else. I saw Mr Chantarasak and he was great, put me at ease and answered all questions. I felt so confident booked my surgey same day! U need to feel comfortable and at ease with whoever you choose, maybe she’s not the surgeon for you. Hope your next consultation is better x

chloeisblonde,I agree with the girls here,book another consultation with a different surgeon,many members have seen more than one surgeon before they made a decision,and MYA do have some of the best surgeons in the business and pride themselves on that,you need to come away from a consultation feeling confident comfortable with your choice,and very excited at the thought of getting the boobs that you want,the consultations are free honey,your PC will do all she can to accommodate you,you have nothing to loose by seeing another surgeon,but everything to gain if you choose the right one,let us know how you get on.xxxx

Thank you everyone, i am going to speak to my pc about it today and see what she thinks. I have been trying on 290g rice boobs and i do like how they look, i think i was just really overwhelmed yesterday! Helena is really nice and i’m sure she was just concerned about me, i do trust her judgement because she has done loads of ops before and she knows what will look best. I just felt a bit rushed but i am feeling a lot better about it today and i’m getting excited again xx

That’s how I felt Hun wen I went for my consultation with mr traynor. It was pretty rushed!!!! I ended up going with my breast and they have been absolotely fantastic!!!!! Couldn’t fault them in anything. I had my re aug last Thursday and go for my check up tomorrow and I see my surgeon not a nurse!!!! U see the surgeon all the way through from ur first appointment. He fitted me in within 3wks!!!! Had my consultation at Fairfield hospital in st Helen’s had my surgery at spire hospital Liverpool. I had pips and one had ruptured so needed it doing ASAP but they fit u in pretty quick anyway. He only had 2 people with ba last Thursday so doesn’t rush. My surgeon is called mr liew. Xx

Hi Chloe, I had 290 overs a few years back…. unfortunately they’re PIPs so need to be replaced.. I’m going for bigger ones now but have loved the 290s and they look very natural! I’ll post a picture for you in my album xx
