Feeling upset right now :(

I’ve taken my steri strips off today, I’m 2wks po tomorrow. My scars are massive compared to my last ones and look shocking. I really wish I’d not looked at them now. I can’t remember what my first ones looked like at 2wks po so got nothing to compare them to. My right one isn’t even in the crease. Im telling myself it’s too early to tell what they will end up like but can’t help feeling gutted n upset. I don’t no what is normal for 2wks and can’t put pics on to get your opinions. Just feel down today x

Ahhhhhh so sorry to hear. I have no clue what u r suppose to expect aft 2wks. Maybe ur over thinking and looking at them considering it’s the second time. Guess u should relax and try not to think too much. Our thoughts makes us crazy lol!!! Take care xxx

Give them time charlie they may still need time to drop and then they scars will be covered xx

Arrggh I just wish I hadn’t looked. My left one looks really bumpy and is in the crease, the right one doesn’t look as bad but is like further up n not in the crease. Mr traynor did say that the scars might not be in the creases, I just wasn’t expecting it to look so noticeable. I suppose I’ll have to just wait and see what happens. Thanks girls xx

I’ve not had my op yet but I had 2 operations in the same place on my arm and the scar looked really bad the 2nd time my surgeon told me its because he cut through old scar tissue but it healed just as good as the first time but took that little but longer I know it’s a different place but I’m guessing most scar tissue is the same xx

Just hope they are gonna even out a bit! Was yours really bumpy 2nd time round? X

Yeah it was quite bad it’s right on my elbow so I was really worried everyone could see it, don’t worry tho it will fade they just take twice as

Ong unfortunately. My first one was Healed within about 8 weeks but second time it was about 5 months before it lost its pink and purple-ness xxx
