felt good, then sore again today

Hi,my boobs were feeling good, had my BA 6 days ago. ive stopped my tramadol, and just on the paracetamol, now my boobs are feeling sore again. have i stopped taking ny tablets too early. also my left breast still more swollen than the right, how long will this take to go down, and when will the pain stop. Also, i have done a quite a bit of walking and been in the car (not driving), do you think this will have a affect on my increased pain, any comments would be much appreciated,

i started to feel good and after i finished my tramadol i started to feel the pain again i contacted the nurse and she said it is cos ur coming off the tablets and my body got used to and settled within a day or to.

walking will make ur new boobs feel tighter and may cause a bit of pain i noticed that over my 6th 7th and 8th day but once they got used to it they settled and got used to it.

any form of sudden movement for example going over road humps or taking a tight corner in a car or walking and creating tightness will cause increas in pain BUT if you do it everyday they will settle down to u getting back into ur regieme.

I am now 13 days post op and feel fine no tightness no pain and all good on public transport and in a car.

thanks patsy, thats a great help. i thought it was but just thought id check. i suppose you just have to grin and bear it for a couple of weeks. was your boobs the same size?

Hi there im 14 days post op and still not settled yet..

i went for a lil walk yesterday as havent been far at all not driven or anythying and my boobs started getting all tight and painful especially in the more swollen one xx

hoping be bit better today as going out to lunch xx

Also i have a more swollen left to right boob a lil diff shape too as swollen 1 is more wider with swelling..mr adamo said will be up to 2 mnths to settle down…

think ev day is a progress though…stick to ice packs and still laying upright…also i find hot bath relieveing xx

Hi cb, im so glad someone is in the same situationan as me with the one boob swelled more. Has your numbness gone now your 14 days. when are you back at work. im supposed to be in saturday, but thinking of leaving it until monday as on my feet all day on saturday. Hope you feel good for your lunch, and enjoy it.

Hi again yeah my numbness has died off quite a bit now..my swollen one was completly numb b4 couldnt even feel nipple now just feels over sensitive..

all this does take time as i said mr a said up to 2 mnths to heal properly,,

what size etc did you have??

to be honest the best thing thats works 4 me is keeping my bra on!!

without the bra i cant handle the feeling of the swelling..

the support is fab these sports bra offer,,

mind you cant wait war norm 1 xxx

oh by the way i had to take extra week off week had 3 weeks off by time go bk monday..

dont over do it if you can help it hun..

im worried about monday lol hope i can drive ok..left boob is bad 1 so gotta do the gear changes..im lucky as mobile hairdresser i do what i want wen i want so not going mad just a coup a day xx

My bf stayed over last night and without going into too much detail, this morning I found my left boob to have yellow bruising on this side . My fault I suppose, took sports bra off for a little while . I better take it easy next time. xx
