Finally!

Had a great nights sleep. Slept laying at but still facing up. Hurts when i lay on the side. Can not wait till friday to have these stitches out ! Along with Caroline22

It will soon be friday girls,when the stitches are trimmed your scars will not feel as tight.xx

What do you mean Tina. Trimmed? Are they not taken out? Ive not had stitches before so i dont know, i though there pulled out? Xx

Mine were just trimmed honey, the nurse did take some out,as soon as she trimmed them they came out,but a couple were left in and they just came out by themselves over the next couple of days. Your nurse may take them out.Seems to be different for everyone.All I know is you feel so much better when they are not tight.xxx

I had my pre op yesterday and got told they use dissolvable stitches and leave quite a bit on the end to allow for stretchin. At your 1 week check they trim the ends off, replace your dressings, make sure everything’s ok and that’s about it. They leave the stitches in to dissolve themselves xx

oh god i hope they take them out ive never had stitches before either emilyjane they are doing my head in pulling and itching xx

I think me and Caroline have ordinary stitches Amy. I don’t think we have the dissolvable ones Hun.

I know Caroline. I can’t wait till Friday. I’ve been wondering whether to bring my appointment forward and go today or tomorrow but I realised I’m busy and can make it till Friday boooo. Got house measuring to do today. Got a house with my partner and his at work so I’ve got his tape measure, god hope I don’t get these measurements wrong he will kill me!! Lol. Xx

I had normal stitches rather than disolvable and had them taken out at 11days po. It didn’t hurt at all and felt much better after xx

Ah really. Thanks Faye. Been a bit worried about having them taken out. I’m in Friday which will be 10 days x

hah id rather u than me with a measuring tape i ordered my little boy motorbikes from argos last xmas thought they were going to quite big with the measurements on a tape when they came back they were bloody micro used the wrong end of the tape lol xx Faye did u have mr c xx

nothing about stitches girls!!!! havng researched the surgeons at mya was wandering whos the best who wud u guys recommend??? xxx

myself personally i would say mr chantarask myself and emilyjane11 had him last tuesday and either of us have had any pain and the stitches look so neatxx
