Highgate London
Mr Fallahdar @ MYA
Removal and replacement of 320cc LP overs to 460cc HP unders.
Bearing in mind my first BA was 13 years ago I didn’t really remember much about the process I just remembered that my boobs looked HUGE after the op and they hurt! Oh and I remembered that I was very sick.
We decided to stay in London the night before the operation as my admission time was 7:30am and the last thing I wanted to be worrying about on the day of the op was running late. We stayed in a lovely hotel called The Palm Hotel which was only about 10 minutes from the hospital. I knew Iwasn’t going to sleep very well as the nerves were starting to kick in BUT the fact the hotel was facing a dual carriageway didn’t help I think I managed around 3 hours of sleep.
I showered, dressed and took a deep sigh….this was it! We headed to the hospital. Arrived at 7:20am and checked in. I was given a form to fill in and then my husband and I were taken to my room by the porter, I was told the nurse would be in soon.
At approxmatley 8:30am the anesthetist came in and introduced herself…I am not going to be rude but both my husband and I thought she looked like she had just got up from a heavy night out! It wasn’t very encouraging! Around 8:40am the surgeon came in all bright eyed and bushy tailed I was rather concerned that I had not seen the nurse as yet but she literally walked in as I was telling Mr Fallahdar.
Mr Fallahdar went over the sizes again. So he said “we’ve ordered 460’s and 525’s for you….which is it to be!?” I said that I would like him to go with the 460’s if I had anyless than 380cc….he thought this was a good suggestion, originally I had said the limit would be 310cc but my husband reminded me besides the greater risks of having a bigger implant the 460’s are a great size implant!! Mr Fallahdar said that he would leave me with some paperwork to fill in and let the nurse do her stuff and he’d come back.
The nurse did all the usual things….blood pressure, temperature, discussed allergies, put wrist band on me. Unfortunately my D.O.B was wrong and this caused all sorts of problems….the nurse had to leave and get this sorted.
Mr Fallahdar came back in around 9:00am to take pictures and discuss the proceedure in detail (again) I asked him if I could keep my old implants… he laughed and probably thought I was a right weirdo, he said that he has never been asked such a question….great! I am a weirdo then!! The best he could do was take pictures of the implants and this was good enough for me. I was curious to know what they looked like, you have to remember I didn’t really know 100% what size implant or profile I had so I had many questions still unanswered. Mr Fallahdar looked at me and said “Don’t worry – all is going to e fine – YOU will be fine!!” I guess he sensed I was just a little bit nervous at this stage!!
The nurse came in straight after Mr Fallahdar left measured me for socks and gave me my paper knickers…so attractive!! I was told that the surgery would be in about an hour and a half….yikes! I wasn’t expecting it to be so long away but I was 3rd on the list I guess, our very own XinaLouise was before me (I didn’t meet her but I am guessing she was one of the ladies in the waiting room when I arrived)If you are reading this Xina I was the brunette!!
The next hour and a half flew by. When the nurse came in and said they are ready for you I all of a sudden felt very sick!! I was led to the theatre and immediately told to lie down on the bed, removing my gown from my shoulders. Everything then happened really fast the anesthetist told me I would feel a little scratch as a nurse was taking my blood pressure…lots going on all at once, people were in and out of the room, the anesthetist said sleep well and that was it…………………………………………………..
………………………………..I remember waking up for what felt like a few seconds at a time, the nurse was speaking to me and asking me if I felt warm now!? Apprantly I had been really cold and shaking after I came around. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and I don’t remember being moved from recovery to my room. I kind of remember my blood pressure being taken here and there but I was in and out of sleep for the next few hours at least that’s how it felt. Mr Fallahdar came in and checked on me and to check my drains ….I slept somemore.
I then started waking up for longer periods of time….like 10 minutes at a time. But it’s all a little fuzzy.
I recall Mr Fallahdar coming back in a little later and explaining to me that the CC was worse than he’d suspected. I was in the operating theatre for nearly 2 hours, the scar tissue was really tough. I also had grade 2 CC around my left implant which was a surprise Mr Fallahdar had taken lots of pictures of my implants and placed them on top of normal 320 low profile implants to show clearly the dramatic changes that had occured with my implants…it was amazing to see how much smaller they appeared. My right implant looked like a water balloon! I guess I will see these pictures again when I have a follow up appointment with him.
He also advised that as my breast tissue was very thin he had to stitch the breast tissue to the muscle….this means I am not aloud to pick anything up for 6 weeks. He said this is REALLY important and although people heal at different rates I must NOT ignore this advice!
I was very sick after the GA and throw up all over myself twice!! Not a nice look!! I am still feeling sick but I haven’t been sick I am wearing a 34E sports bra but it is actually now feeling tight so I think I need to wear a different size. I am hoping to LOOK like a full E after the swelling goes down and my boobies finally settle….I have a good feeling I will get the look I am after!! I must say though I am not as swollen as I was after my first op….no-where near as swollen and I am not in as much pain even though this time I had unders which are meant to be more painfull.
And importantly what I have learnt LISTEN TO YOUR SURGEON!!! Mr Fallahdar said the 460’s would be a great size considering my stats, current implants and breast tissue or lack of! and he was right! I am really pleased I didn’t push him for the 525’s….quite possibly he wouldn’t have been able to fit them in anyway but I think it would have caused further complications if he had!

Hi hun, great story.
Glad everything went fine and that you are happy with your new boobies!
Sorry to hear that you were sick but you said you had that with your 1st BA as well:S Hope you feel much better soon.
So did you have your second BA because of CC?
When did you find out that you had it? did you decide to have your new implants under the muscle or did the surgeon decided it to minimise the risk of CC?
I am having my BA in 3 weeks, I am kind of nervous and hope I will not
have many problems afterwards.
Yes it is always good to listen to the surgeons advice and I hope you will rest those 6 weeks and take it easy. Happy healing xxx
