Finally my turn tomorrow: Preston First Trust 410 unders Mario Russo

Just wanted to share my excitement! I;ve been reading everyones stories since beg. of jan and want to thank everyone for sharing the stories as they really do help you to be prepared. I’m not nervous in the slightest now as i have a good idea of what is to come x

I’m soooo excited! early morning start, got my call for 7am admission…wish me luck!

ps – do i need anything else for the hospital? – i’ve currently packed my v pillow (for car), baby wipes, macom bra, fasten up pjs, zip up tracksuit, snacks for afterwards (more for the hubbie!), mags, laptop, slippers.

if i’ve missed anything i would be extremely grateful for further tips!

Good luck pet – the whole experience stays with you for life so enjoy. bit like your driving test you never forget thi well how could you?

good tip – you n hubby think of names to call each one to break the ice whilst your nervous before op

i thought i was gonna die before the op- all nerves you will be fine, i was hysterical crying all over the place nearly backed out so many times – this is all fine too

let hubby kiss goodbye to the bad boys just before you go in and welcome the good boys when you get back hee hee

take your meds as you would at home ie, my pain threshold not so good so when tablet packet says every 4 hours i did every 3/12 so i was always pain free.

i dont know how they do things nowadays but i was given diamorphine and diclaphenic (oops cant spell) the second made me have like throthy bile tummy. i thought my boobs had leaked lol – hysterical now but honestly you will find yourself looking for every little thing – just relax and enjoy it – its a fantastic experience especially the euphoria when you go out for your new underwear
