Hi, I got told yesterday at my first meeting with the patient co-ordinator that it is 15% apr. This is double what you can get a loan for.

I’ve had finance ring me today and he said that I had to take it out over three years? Despite me being able and willing to pay over two possibly even one year. Is this wrong? Can I insist that it’s taken out over a shorter period of time? After all they will wont me to pay longer, more interest for them. Does anybody have any similar experiences to this? Thanks

What does the paperwork say? Did you have an option?? Sounds a bit cheeky to me… Ummm!! x

    Menu

That’s what my pic originally told me. It was the finance guy that seemed pushy about three years. I think I’m going to call them back tomorrow and change it, or at least see why I wasn’t offered the option.

Opps pc told me! I’ve not signed the paperwork he’s emailed it through at the rate if three years. Am defiantly going to ring again tomorrow. Thought it seemed a bit odd

they asked what i wanted to do, i wasent pushed into anything

I have found finance to be a bizmal constantly contradicting their information with one rule for one one rule for another. I was told I could do finance with a guarantor and it still be in my name to them be told I couldn’t!? I was told 0% has gone and it’s now 15% over your whole payment so if you pay £4000 you’d pay £600 in interest over either 1,2 or 3 years! X

@Georgina glad you’re going to speak to them tomorrow- really if you can pay it off sooner than later then why would you want to give them all that extra on top….Stick to your guns girl 🙂 x

    Menu

Thanks I shall let you all know how I get on. I also was told the same about the guarantor and then told nope can’t do that. I think they seem to make the rules up depending on who they are.

    Menu

I agree entirely, I can’t and don’t want to put a loan in my ins name I want finance or a loan in my name it did to be 18 I stand no chance, putting it in my name with my mum as a guarantor was pretty much my only option… Having to re think things through! Xx

How can they offer some women 0% finance and not others?! No one mentioned finance at all with mine but neither did I! Can you push for 0% or does the cost of the procedure go up??
    Xx Lis

I got it interest free but this was because at the time there was a new offer on thatt it was interest free over 10 month but the offer was only for a few week so this is probs why nobody new about it my pc only told me because she wanted me me to pay asap lol xx

I got interest free becuase I paid such a high deposit I think….. but they I was only offered 1 or 2 years as well never mentioned 3 years. If you want it over less though its entirely upto you I am sure though maybe give them a call back and tell that that others have done it this way x
