Hello ladies. I received a message this evening that the company that was providing MYA clients with finance are no longer providing this service. They hope to find an alternative lender in a couple of weeks.

I’ve thought about loans but if I borrow like £3,800 I will end up having to pay back a total of like £5,600. I really don’t want that! I’m going to hold on for a bit and wait to see if MYA get someone soon, but I feel its going to push back all the dates I wanted, and was hoping for.

Just needed to vent out to some girls who would understand this frustration. Sorry to moan some.

Victoria text me yesterday and told me. She didn’t say the name of the company though that has stopped providing the service xx.

I was told something similar last week that the finance company wasn’t giving finance to people who should have been elegible. I have paid my deposit and am supposed to be having my op on the 11th feb, but without that finance then it’s not going to happen! I also hope they give leeway to the cancellation policy because of this. What a nightmare!!!! :-( xx

Very strange. I got declined yet I earn 13,1400 after tax a month 2 jobs. But some people on part time and only 18 was being excepted. Oh dear hopefully next one will be better. Its horrible to get declined specially when you know u an pay it off :(

    Menu

Apparently v12 like people who are expected to default and take longer than 12months @ 0% to pay it off so they make money! I have read some awful reviews about them this morning!! :-( x

I was advised to go for the 48month one for a better chance even though I can pay it over 12 or 18 months with no prob! I have a good income . But they made it completely hard to pass what they call eligibility terms! Hope new one gets staring soon and isn’t so hard for us to get :( x

Yes. I was told by my pc that v12 have withdrawn finance facilities for all cosmetic surgery companies as some people who have had the pip implants are not paying their repayments back!

My op is meant to be on the 11th feb but at this rate I’m going to have to cancel :( x

    Menu

Oh dear! Have you already put in for finance and been excepted??? Cause you have booked your surgery date already and paid deposit I guess the finance is already in place? Xx

    Menu

No. I have paid the deposit to hold my date but then the finance hasn’t gone through because of this nIghtmare. Basically I have 10 days to find the money elsewhere!

    Menu

Surely Mya will come up with somethingm as you were supposed to get on finance? It’s a lot of money to get in just 10days!! X

    Hi all

Just to confirm MYA are no longer offering V12 to our new patients. This is because V12 has ceased lending across the industry as a whole.

Please be assured that all loans that have been previously approved WILL still be honoured; and the full 90 days validity still stands.

MYA have always offered finance to our patients using a selection of third party lenders. So if you meet the basic criteria finance is something that can be discussed at your consultation with your PC.

MYA are currently looking into the best options for our patients to ensure a suitable alternative is secured. We hope to have this sorted by the end of the week.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message the Mod or give your PC a call who will be more than happy to advise.
