    Hi,

Does anyone know if you can apply for finance for an op under someone else’s name, such as parent or boyfriend? Having my consultation first and don’t want to travel all that way just to be told no and be really disappointed.

Basically I earn enough money to pay it off each month no problem, but have a bad credit rating due to some problems I had a couple of years ago – as a consequence I can’t even get a credit card! It’s so frustrating as I know I can afford it, but I know I’ll also get turned down!

So I was hoping I could get the finance in my bf’s name and pay him each month. i can pay for the downpayments ok. Anyone done this?

I don’t really want to save up as I’d love the op this summer.

    Thanks

hey i was told a blood relative or husband can apply on your behalf but a boyfriend cant! xx

Thanks for reply. oh that’s so annoying. We’ve been living together for ages, so practically married… maybe that will sway them, idk. Or it looks like i’ll have to save up, which I really don’t want to do. x

i tried that one even got a son together and been together 4years living with each other for 3 and that didnt work!! i was annoyed too but managed to get a loan through bank, if ur boyfriend dont mind doing the finance for you why dont you see if he could get a loan then u could just set a standing order up for the amount of the loan! at least that way u can have it by summer! :d xx

I really want it done but im also really scared! Got a 14 month old son and im terrified something would happen to me x

Its pretty unfair that the difference between finance and no finance is a marriage certificate! Yeah, we may have to go down the loan route, but it’ll have to really low APR. I’m so impatient and want my op now, hehe!

aww bless you, speak to girls who have had them on forums like this one sofeminine is good also the girls are really nice on there too!!

I found researching helped me, nothing will happen to you, your in safe hands, all the surgeons are experienced surgeons and have done 1000’s of procedures before!

if it is what you want you should go for it, you will be well looked after! if you book in for a consultation with a patient coordinator she will be able to talk about risks etc.. hope i helped a lil! xx

i was told a child would allow a partner 2 have finance in their name, my fella was going 2 pay 4 mine that way, but coz he didnt ‘donate the sperm’ 4 our boy, then he couldnt, even though we have been 2gether 4 8 years, planning our wedding (finally) and own 4 businesses 2gether. hope this helps, and either u get it urself, or through ur partner xx

    Menu

aww thankyou hun!! hope you enjoy ur consultation and get the info u need and finance xx

Really?? OMG, so there may still be a chance?? I’m having my consultation in Bristol and I’m going to explain my situation – that I CAN afford finance, I earn enough and can pay deposits – I just don’t want to wait 2 years to save up first. If that fails then I’ll just save up £3500 and pay the rest on a small loan.

I want this so much I can’t even explain. I hate that I’ve already paid £5000 for a boobjob and yet I’m STILL too small. I don’t even have claevage!. Harley Medical are rubbish when it comes to big implants – I mean, they thought 390cc’s where massive and they refused to go up to 400cc on my 5ft9 frame! x

    Hi,

My boyfriend at the time got finance for my BA as it was his wedding present to me. Obviously we had different names as not married and different address as he is in the army. No problem.

Hey! I the exact same lutragirl!! I have bad credit from being a stupid teenager…now I earn a decent amount and back on top of things! I was told there might be a chance that I could get credit in my boyfriends name but because we aren’t married we might not manage :( I have to try and convince my sister to help me out xxx

    Menu

Can I add u carina I’m the same got my first consultation on Friday, im really scared but more because I have two children and don’t want anything to happen to me for there sake :) but id love to have a BA x

    Menu

hi paula im not sure how they do things now cause i no they were changin things like the amount of deposit u have to put down an that, i had my consultation in nov an i paid 400 deposit then finance startin a month after ur ba, 2 years interest free at around 170 per month total cost 4711, jus speak to ur pc hun she will tell u everything u need to no xx

Hey, thanks for your replies everyone, really helped me. I’ve now decided to save up for the op – we are moving house in two months and can’t justify spending £5k right now. I need to replace my implants anyway in 2017 (omg, so far away…) so I might just save a little every month and go bigger nearer to that time. I’ll aim for 2015.

I’m still going to my consultation though as I’m going to see about having dermal fillers (cheaper!). xx
