First consultation at MYA Newcastle yesterday. Meeting Mario Russo on 21st March

Hi everyone. I’ve been wanting this surgery for so long and I finally feel as though the process can realistically go ahead! Ive been pretty much accepted for a loan as I’ve already signed the credit agreement and sent it back, and they say after final checks the money should be in my account within the next few days

I met my patient co-ordinator at MYA yesterday who seemed like a lovely lady and answered any questions I had. I’ve already done quite a bit of research myself but any random things I had to ask she was happy to answer.

I just wondered if you ladies could let me know what your consultation with Mr. Russo was like?

I’m not sure what size I’d want to go for. In the past I’ve had a consultation at another company and thought about one 300 and one 325 (I think) because I have slight asymmetry.

Also when you are chauffer driven to have surgery and stay in over night, where can my boyfriend stay? cause my PC said you can take anyone you like in the car but he’d have to find somewhere else to stay wouldnt he? I dont know whether to be a day case and stay in a hotel with him. Although he’d prefer me to stay over night in the hospital so i’m safer, hmm!

Had my consultation with Mario last Wednesday and I will say he’s a man of very few words!! Was in and out of my consultation with him in about 10 mins lol! This was fine with me though as I’d already done loadssss of research on him before I met him and knew I wanted him. He tells you what size you can go rather than you telling him! I told him I wanted to LOOK a DD and he said he would like to examine me first so he could tell me realistically what size I can go to. He specialises in the natural look. He’s a nice guy though. Got my BA tomorrow nervous now!!

same as ginag84! was with him 10 mins at the most, felt as if it was a bit rushed. Thought id be with him longer but you can book another consultation if you feel the need to go back and see him, i’ve got another one at the end of this month. I was told by my pc that most girls have a day case and then stay in a nearby hotel overnight so thats what im going to do, all the best with your consultation:D xx

Aww I met mario I didn’t feel rushed but looking back I can’t have been in there too long but he was asking me about my background as I’m half Asian and we joked about this is why I’m flat chested, if you’re going to Preston there’s plenty of travel lodges your boyfriend could stay at, there’s a hotel a few mins walk away as well I think and not too expensive x

Also write your questions down incase he sends you speechless

I meet with Mario on 15th March, cant wait to get the ball rolling. However, have soo much going on the next couple of months realistically dont think I’ll get my BA booked in until June!! ………….hopefully the time flys!! xx

thanks for your replies I’m definitely going to have a good think and write some questions down in preparation! you always go blank when you feel in a rush so that’ll help.

I really hope I can get booked in pretty quick cause I have waited so long plus I want them to have some time healing before summer!
