Hi Ellie, I’m 2 days post op after a uplift and implants with Mr Mounir, he is amazing. I am so happy with the results so far. I’m quite a bit older than you but the time was right. I, like you took time to research etc and I’m so glad I choose MYA and Mr Mounir. I am coping well with the pain, it’s not heavy and tight than actual pain. I will try and upload some pics later if before and after to give you an idea of the results. However I do look quite uneven at the moment but once the implants settle that will disappear. I went for 300cc high profile overs so recovery is quicker than unders.
Hope this helps a little x

Hey Joanne ! Aw lovely and yeah I’ve spent a while researching I’ve had a few days to get my head round the uplift and think I want to go for it but just abit disheartened as it wasn’t what I was expecting to have , I think Im worried about the incisions too as they go all the way around the nipple and then the little anchor don’t they? That worries me in case my nipple looks indented I’m the outside if that makes sense, so many things to think about haha!x thankyou for replying hope a healthy and speedy recovery xxxx

Well Joanne they look amazing how are you getting on now after your surgery?

Do you mind me asking what size you were before and what size you are now?

How is the scarring looking that was one of the things that was putting me off?

Was you in a lot of pain after and did you have to rest up stay off work for long?

    Thanks in advance xxx

I’m now 4 weeks post op and they look even better! I will get the hubby to take new photos tomorrow so you can see how the scarring looks, personally I think they are extremely neat and won’t leave much of a mark.
I only had two weeks off work to rest up and I own my own business so I’m very active on a daily basis, I have struggled not being able to lift heavy things as I have a 2 year old who loved big mummy cuddles which I can’t give.
I was a very empty 32D and I went for 300cc high profile over the muscle. They have settled into place now and I’m over the moon. For the last week after I had my bandages removed I was concerned as my right boob had a bum shape on the underside but today that has completely vanished.
I was in a lot less pain than I had imagined, I only took the meds as the nurses advised me to keep topped up.
The only thing that is weird is I still have numb boobs which apparently is normal! I think you should know that before going ahead as if freaked me out. I knew that nipple sensation may not come back until I’m fully recovered but I wasn’t prepared for the numb boobs!

I hope this has helped you make a decision as it’s the best thing I have ever done! Xx

Thanks Joanne, that’s good news about your scars that was a big put off for me, but I’ve had a few good reports from people of how well they have healed and there scarring some I’m starting to feel more positive about it.

What size did you go up to now? I have no clue about sizes keep seeing post about 300 cc or 400cc but means nothing to me lol. I’m hoping for guidance by the surgeon.

    Thanks for your help xx

I haven’t been measured yet as I wanted to wait until the 6-8week mark before buying any new bras, but I reckon I’m about DD-E which is what I wanted.
Which surgeon are you seeing? XX

@Ellie I was exactly the same as you hun! I was told by my PC that I needed an uplift with implants and made me feel really worried as I haven’t had kids yet or anything BUT then I met Dr Sleiter and he was like “no way I can do this for you 100% without an uplift don’t worry” and I have since had 350cc HP overs with no uplift and my boobs look great. He was honest in the fact that he said I may need to come back for an uplift once I have had kids but I don’t think you should worry too much until you have met with a surgeon.

I’m on the laptop atm so don’t have my pics however my instragram is – bamyajourney1507 if you wanted to follow and see my before pics xx
