I’m on my 17th day post op and I went back to work today (I’m a hairdresser) after just about managing to do three clients I was in a lot of discomfort and had a few shooting pains in my boobs and was also very breathless due to my chest being very tight! I was able to finish early today and managed to get tomorrow off too but on Saturday (in 2 days) im fully booked and have to work and I’m really worried about doing any damage!
Any hairdressers had similar problems?? I thought I’d be fine by now xxx

I’m not a hairdresser but I am 23 days post op and still have limited movement with my arms and am still quite sore.
I would suggest really resting tomorrow and then just seeing how you go on Saturday. Are you able to get someone else to blowdry the hair so you’re not doing any fast movements/holding a weight xx

Is it normal to still be like this? My PC said I’d be absolutely fine after 2 weeks and I questioned her but she said definitely 😕
Unfortunately there is nobody else free to do the blowdrying, which is what I struggled with most today! I just don’t want to do any harm to them though xx

I took paracetamol and ibuprofen for a lot longer than 2 weeks lol , I was probably 6 weeks before I felt normal x
