First medical loans

Hi ladies! Have any Of you had dealings with fml? I applied online last night for £1700 as I will be able to raise the rest. How long does the approval take? I have a bad credit rating but hoping that as I’m putting over half the total down in cash it will get approved! I only need to borrow for 3 months till my student loan comes through!

My lovely bf has said he will guarantor for me too.

If accepted it means I can get boobies for Xmas rather than having to squeeze it in during the February half term…..

Any advice would be fab 

i asked to loan 4,000 at first they didnt accept because they wasnt happy with it coming out of my mums account but then they spoke about it again and its now coming from my boyfriends account! altogether this took about 2 weeks for me, hopefully theyl get back to you soon like maybe tomorrow if not just ring them up :)xx

hiya gema, i applied online and then they hadnt got back to me the next day so i rang them and they said they would accept me with a joint applicant-i thought that ment basically a guarentour, so i applied got my paperwork through sent back everything they asked for from me and my step dad, they then rang me the next day to say what id provided from my step dad wssnt good enough and they needed more things more bankstatements a letter from his accountant etc so he was bit angry wonder why they needed all this personal info when it was me who would be making re-payments and me applying not him. my mum rang them and they said he is a joint applicant not a guarentour so he is rli applying for it as well so that meant it would show up on his records like he was asking to borrow the money not just been a guarentour etc. so to save hassle i applied online for a loan with my bank and they accepted me straight away without another applicant and i got the money into my account within a few days so glad i did that cause just felt first medical wer picky and it would have meant messing about sending more things to them etc.

some people are fine with them and get accepted no problems its was just what they wer asking for put us off lol! x

I doubt I will be able to get a bank loan…. My rating is VERY bad! But I may ask the bf if he could get one, as I said I only need it for 3 months! I could just wait, bit I want my boobies now!!!! Lol! Will Defo give them a call tomorrow if I don’t hear anything xx

you might be fine with first medical some people apply and its all sorted quick as lol! but i just felt my step dad wasnt happy actually been an applicant too even tho he wanted to do it for me they were asking for more things so jut fout sod it il apply with my bank to save hassle x

Hi Hun, my credit score is really really bad!! I needed to borrow the last £1,000 from FML and I was honest with them from the start and said how bad my credit score was! Anyways, they said I needed a joint applicant so my boyfriend agreed. We each had to send bank statements and id. I couldn’t believe it when it was approved as I really thought it wouldn’t be! As long as you send in to them everything they ask for you should hear back within days – I did.

hi i also needed a joint application, i was borrowing the full amount, spent weeks sending documents to them, bank statements, wage slips ect! they eventually got bk to me day of my pre op, and said the application had been refused, and could i re apply with another person, my op was scheduled for 2 weeks from that day, so i dint have time to re apply, luckily my step dad agreed to lend me the money, im really pleased about it now coz im not paying interest! good luck! xx

Tracy, did ur bf have his own house? Im tryin to work put ways because piggy wank bank scheme is takin too long x
