First shower since my op…..

Jesus I jumped straight back out, I couldn’t bare the water anywhere near my boobs n arms. If this is normal wen does it stop hurting?xxx

Was it painful hun? I can’t really help as i wasn’t in any pain. Maybe just use a flannel for a light wash instead of the full on water from the shower? xx

Honestly I’ve been dreaming ov a shower since I had it done. It was awful!xxx

It may have been to hot for the scar tissue, did you try a slightly cooler setting? Xx

Yeah it was only lukewarm anyway, I changed the jet speed too. I’m not allowed to soak in the bath for another 2 weeks either! I want to have all my dressings put back on, I’m scared of everything touching me! I’ve not had any painkillers either for 3 days, I was up on n off all nite last nite taking different ones!xxx

Aww Hun, phone the nurse and tell her your in so much pain and everything that touches you hurts, request that you have some dressings put back on! They can’t refuse you that. Try an keep on top of the pain with painkillers if you can, and don’t over do things xx

Yeah I was gonna ring her to see if I could put some back on, she sent me away with steri’s & a few dressings last nite incase I needed them. I think it hurts more now than wen I 1st had it done! I can’t decide if it is pain or extremely sensitive xxx

It’s probably the sensitivity of the new tissue plus it’s been covered since your op! It’s your skins first outing if you like! Lol. Try and stay positive it makes everyday a bit easier to deal with xx

i had 1st shower last nite lol i was gunna wait til today but fout sod it! just scared about washing my hair so think il still do that over the bath dnt wanna get all shampoo etc by my insisions, n just used simple soap without perfume etc x

I am 2 weeks post op and have to stand with my back in the shower. Can’t stand the water on my front as my nipples are so-oo sore, it’s agony!! x

im only 10days post op i had a shower last nite and took my steri strips off, wasnt in any pain at all felt nice to have a full body wash lol x

Tracy that’s wat I was like, but my arms too so I’m stuffed! & xcerix I’m not happy about this, I’m jealous! I need a rite good wash!!xxx
