Potentially random question but important for me as I am there for two nights. What are the facilities at Fitzroy? Do the TV’s have freeview? Is there wifi? I need to know what will keep me amused on my recovery day!

Yeah TV wasn’t working in mine either. Room 3 that was. Also ask for a fan if it’s hot in the room.
I had my Kindle with me but didn’t use it as was drifting in and out of sleep too often to focus on anything.
May I ask why are you going in for 2 nights? I had 2 ops and still only one night in..

I’m having a breast reduction and Mr Singh insisted on two nights, he said he likes to operate on patients like me later in the day because it takes longer and then give me a lot of relaxing time.
So free wifi, awesome, means I can use netflix on the tablet!

Where my room was the wifi wasn’t that good so. Couldn’t get access to anything and personally found it to hot in there so wouldn’t of wanted to of stayed you might be better getting a friend or relative to stay in a local hotel where you have all he facilities if you need them!

I can’t do that, I’m staying in to make sure things like my chest drains are alright and stuff and I’m happy to stay in really. I’ll take my laptop just in case to watch DVDs.

I know dr Singh doesn’t use drains, unless he thinks you need them.. He’s great though:) good luck!

Either way, two nights is his preference for breast reduction patients so not about to complain 🙂 Thankyou.
