booked in for my surgery on 17th feb! was just looking through the forums and a lot of people seem to be talking about fluffing. can someone please explain what this is?!
also is an hour long enough for the surgeons consultation?
Hiya kayleigh… Wow 17th Feb!! Won’t be long it’ll soon be here!! My BA in 20th Jan!! Fluffing is a term used to describe when the swelling goes and the boobs settle and adjust to the implants. Not sure when everyone is different. As for consultations, the surgeon will examine / measure your breasts, ask you questions about your breasts and what size you would like to be. THe surgeon will also go through risks etc too. Mine took about an hour but then every examiniation is different depending on the needs of the patient. Lots of love xxx
fluffing is the breast tissue is settling around the implant, this is when your boobs become softer lower and seem more like a natural pair. You can gain a cup size from fluffing…..
i may be wrong but i think fluffing is more common with unders, i have been told that with overs after the 6 weeks they are the size they will stay wheras with unders (which can take longer to heal, but i’m one week post op with unders and ok) you can get an unexpected size boost out of the blue months later (or you could think of it as a visit from booby fairy).
cool good to know rachieboo, i thought i had unders, it wasn’t mentioned at consultation and it wasn’t written in my notes, i asked the pc after and she asked him and he said unders but nurse at post op says she thinks they look like overs, so who knows what i got. but don’t care there done lol xxx
hey exesse, overs fluff to…..i have heard loads of people with overs ended up another cup size or 2 and was told by a girl in la senza not to by to many bras just yet, as i may end up a G! xxx
Hey, I’m 7 weeks post op with unders. My left boob has dropped and fluffed before my right. There is more boob below my nipple and it looks slightly bigger and rounder than my right. Its also slightly softer than my right boob. Ive got pics where you can see the difference x x x
