FOR ALL YOU GIRLS WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT NUMBNESS :)

I’ve had a numb spot just under my left nipple on my breast since my op. Been so paranoid I wouldn’t get the feeling back. But tonight as I’m sat watching Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, I started getting quite strong pins and needle feelings in my left boob, right on the patch that’s been numb. Took my sports bra off and had a prod and yessss girls, the feelings starting to come back Am sooooo relieved I’m just over 3 weeks post op now, so if any girls are worried, don’t be as it can come back and probably will!!

So happy, just had to share xx

Were that’s fab Huni my boobs have felt tingly from day one n notice ther less numb in places everyday so tingles r a gd sign lol xx

Aww thts good I’m 4 days po and just bout all my left boob is numb lol I soo hope it comes back xx

Don’t worry girls, tingles were a good sign in my case so hopefully they will be in yours too Be patient! xx

I just want to add to this and say I am 8 months post op and until recently I still had numb spots under both boobs but the feeling is coming back slowly. It feels tingly and weird but the feeling is definitely coming back. I didn’t believe it when people said they can change for up to a year but it is true, mine are still changing x

Yeah it’s a big thing for our body to go through so all in good time I’m not botherd… I got BOOBS lol xx

I’m 6 weeks po and the out side of both boobs and nipples are numb! I hope it comes back? Xx

Ps I was crying at gypsy wedding when she asked her abt her mum poor lass must be awful to go threw ya wedding day without ya mum x x

I no, it was sad wasn’t it. Poor girl! On the funny side though, how many people were at there wedding lol! They must of put an add out in the local paper asking for spectators lol xx

I’m sure your feeling will come back hun, like Belle said in her earlier post, it’s took 8 months for hers and it’s till changing now! xx

hey when i touch my left nipple it feels uncomfortable like a sharp pain? is this a sign of feeling coming back? they don’t feel mine cause i don’t have much feeling in them just feeling around the sides and underneath x

Possibly Claire, mine hurt more when I touched it. I took my sports bra off and touched it with my finger but couldn’t feel it much, so I scratched harder with my nail and that’s when I knew the feeling was coming back

Yeah, for me, pain and tingling means the feeling is coming back. I often get sharp shooting pains x
