for those of you with children…need your advice

I’m due to have my BA two weeks on friday (whoop whoop)…

i have two children aged 9 & 7. I feel that i should let my children know that i’m going to be away from home for a night and that i may be tierd and not be able to play on trampoline etc… but, really do not know how to tell them.

I don’t want to confuse the poor boys! lol… any tips? Obviously, they’re gonna see me strapped up and in a fragile way lol… and, with any look, i’ll have boobs for the first time. HELP please ladies.x

i told my 8 year old son, mammys going to london to get boobies, tbh it went over his head, he wasnt overly bothered about me being fragile either he just helped me out when needed but didnt really take much interest in the reason behind why i needed help withh things lol xx

I told my boys 10 and 14 and they didn’t seem bothered really. They were Like what u doing that for lol xx

I have a 2 & 9 yr old, I said I’ve got poorly boobies that a dotors going to fix! My 2 yr old couldn’t care less as he didn’t understand, my 9 yr old was saying there’s nothing wrong with my boobs & am I gonna be ok. I reminded him of the time wen he was about 4 & he asked me why I have tall boobs!! Anyway I showed him wen I got home & he said wow my mums boobs have been stuffed!!! & he’s been great! Good luck, jus tell them, they’re old enough(ish) to understand xxx

you could just tell them ur going in for a wee op to make ur tummy feel better and you will be a bit tired for a few days and will need to go slow for a while! Im sure if u told them the truth it wouldnt bother them, but its jst the fact they might mention to other ppl their mummys going for a op on her boobs lol! I jst told my son its jst a wee op to make me feel better..hes a bit younger tho so didnt ask many Qs xx

I’v got 2 boys, 12 & 15 at the time, i just said i was getting a boob job lol…my 12 year old was really supportive bless him, he said if it was gonna make me happy then go for it – my 15 year old on the other hand slammed out of the house, called me an embarrasment and didn’t speak to me for 5 days lol

Hi Hun, My boys were 10 and 5 when I had them done and I just told them the truth, I told them that sometimes people aren’t happy with bits on their bodies so they get them fixed, and that I wasn’t happy with my boobs so that was what I was going to do, I told them that I would be fine but that it was still an operation so they had to be careful with me and that I would need to rest for a few weeks.

I told them from the offset what I was going to do and they really accepted it straight away, before I had them done I had answered the door to a friend and my son came running out saying ‘mummy the dog is eating your black boobs’. I was in hysterics as he meant my rice test lol. Good luck

I told my 9 year old mommys boobies are very unhappy but the good doctor was goin to make them happy he laughted hes head off lol he didnt mind at all he asked if he couid see them after! And he just said they r happy now MUCH BETTER :-] x x

hey, i have an 8 yr old and an 8 month old, i told my 8 year old the truth, she said i shouldnt and that i was going to look stupid because im so skinny, but since the op she hasnt showed one bit of interest, i would be honest with them, just dont make a big deal of it! good luck! xxx

My little boys 3!!! I told him the truth said my boobs need fixing hes was fine!!! hes imaginary friend has even had a boob job now lol!!!! hes 3 and understands yours are older im sure there be the same! Always best to be honest with them i think

I think i’m going to tell them that i’m going to the docsto have some meds for my tummy and i’ll be back the next day and very sore. As someone mentioned above… don’t want them telling people. Especially my younger son who is autistic… hes very literal!! His dad had to take him to school a few weeks ago and he casually told his carer that “my dad got me here because my mums tummy hurts because she can’t poo”! just like that! lol.

hi my youngest is 8 and i didnt keep it from him at all and im 3 weeks po now and first of all 3days po in tescos he asked me were they fake and i said well sort of he then shouted oh good u can take them off then lol then out of the blue he asked me this weekend when i was starting my new job and i said what new job and he said you know the boob job you got lol kids are so funny and they just go with the flow.I have 4 kids and the only one was embarrassed and kept telling me to shhhhh was my 20 year old haha xx
