Forbidden ??

Im literaly in on Wednsday girls, with Mr Adamo, having Inspira 340 MHP which I think is the equivalent of 380 CUI, hoping it will take me to a D, even a DD! I do have the option of having 375 which is the equivalent of 410, but as im 23 and hoping to have children when im older, and I can always go bigger on my second op.

Im really exited, and can’t thank you enough for all the advice on this forum….And just so as you know, I will be taking pre op, and many post op pics, because thanks to you girls who allowed me to see your pics, you really helped me with the decision on sizes. Happy to accept any of you, and I don’t mind if we haven’t spoken either, I trust that anyone on this site should be legit, if not, you are sad, & twisted and shame your life didn’t turn out better!

One little naughty question though, I have been told ARNICA is forbidden…. That just makes me want it more ! lol What’s your take on Arnica girls??

Hey luisa, you must be really excited! I didn’t take arnica myself but I know quite a few girls on here have. Its also worth bearing in mind that some nurses/surgeons have advised against taking it. I would just check with your nurse first then make a decision! I don’t think it will do you any harm and I’m sure someone will be along here soon who has used it!

I bought arnica but didnt take it as Mr Kazzazi nearly had a fit when i asked if i could take it and the nurse said it thins the blood to bring out the bruising quicker. My nurse at MYA said they tell you not to take any medicines including herbal remedies. However i know a lot have taken it, i just went with my surgeon and what he told me not to do. x

Thank you tiarastara,not going to lie, the MYA nurse said not to take it, but it’s like completely harmless isn’t it?? It’s a herbal remedy, so I don’t understand how my friends Grandad who has cancer and is having quemo/chemo (sorry don’t know how to spell it), and is taking Arnica to help with the pain and we can’t take a long side pain killers that actually thin out your blood damages your liver? ( I may be wrong, although I just googled it and they seem to be some of the side effects of pain killers)..

Im confused lol I respect the nurse, I just need to hear if something awful has happened to anyone taking it after a BA, (how ever awful that sounds!!!)

Are you talking about taking it BEFORE the op to minimise bruising?!

Because if you are then you are really uneducated and that is entirely your nurse’ fault! It thins the blood and therefore prevents clotting and it means you can have excessive bleeding inside and out and that is never good. Because you can bleed more than expected and have “internal bleeding” or your incitions may take far longer to scab and heal.

NO NOT take it! same with aspirin. It doesn’t matter if its a herbal remedy…..its what it does that is the issue!

Do you mind if I add you? I’m having my consultation next week and am about the same size as you so would be grateful to see some pics! Am thinking of 300cc atm but what did your pc say when you had your consultation? xx

Higher doses of Arnica often causes abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and lose motions.

it increases the possibility of bleeding

Arnica prescription should not exceed 15 days. Its long term usage has caused organ damage in many cases. The organs at risk are the heart, lungs and kidneys. This is the worst possible arnica side effect.

The Arnica side effects on heart may be life-threatening at times. It disturbs the rhythm of the heart beats and increases the blood pressure. Such a condition should be controlled well on time, otherwise it may even result in death.

think il knock the arnica on the head, the nurse told me it was just a sugar! iv had horrific stomach pains alnight and was sick! wonder if thats why, the pains started on fri morning. 9 days to go!

Oh god u bought arnica after reading some girls on here had used it! Think I will throw it away now not liking the side effects! There’s enough what ifs after a BA without adding anymore!!

I used arnica and im so glad i did. I had no bruising at all!! I took it 1 day after the op for 1 week and i was so pleased there was very minimal swelling and not 1 bruise in sight.

its totally up to you what you decide though, whatever makes you feel happy.

No completely not the nurses fault, she was completely honest from the start, and just told me not to take it at all, I suppose I am uneducated on this topic, but I couldn’t understand why I shouldn’t take it, and now it’s obvious. That is why I was asking everyone though, as I hear so many mixed reviews…

I was going to take Arnica post op, but after reading that it thins your blood, puts your organ’s at risk etc… I will stay well clear of it. So many girls said that it helped, so that’s why I posted it up on here.

I didn’t use it and still had very little bruising. I thkn it’s more down to your tendency to bruise and how straight forward the op goes. I was also told not to take it until at least a week post op

I didnt get a single bit of bruising and I never took a thing! Just luck I suppose!

I had no bruising too and I took nothing… I guess it also boils dow to the surgeon and the individual. I too had Mr Adamo and he is a legend. Taking herbal remedies in my opinion is a little extreme. Noones gonna see the bruises anyway hun so I’d say it’s a risk worth taking. Good luck! x

Thank you Maxine, Ros, and Linzi, I am just going to go with the flo, I understand what you are all saying. The majority are saying don’t go there with Arnica, so I woun’t. Im glad I asked though, feel more clued up!

Honestly Louisa, you’re better off without any remedies and just let your body deal with it naturally. You will be more than fine i promise! I cant believe Im almost 4 weeks post op now! I love my puupies sooooo much!! Yay!! xx

Ha ha Lisa that made me chuckle!! lol It will be here in no time, I booked mine in January and it has come round so quickly babe, don’t think it’s ages away because it isn’t ! I think it’s a good thing we are having it done in the winter so as we are all healed for the summer (I hope).
