friend reactions :(((

hi all, ok so i went for tea with some friends, first outing with them since my op….and well what can i say, cheers for the vote of confidence, NOT!! as soon as i saw one of them i got the ‘omg how far apart are they’ so i explained they have to soften etc but she just looked revolted, anyways i showed them my assets (wish i hadnt) to be greeted with ‘err, omg, ones really swollen, omg im neva having them etc etc’ came home feeling really really shite, these are my friends, is it jealousy? so my hubby thinks, he reassured they look ok and are getting loads better but really didnt need the reaction xxxx

I would say they are definately jealous hun. They don’t really sound like friends tbh!! My friend got hers done a week and a half ago and when she showed me them yes they did look strange but I didn’t say anything as horrible as that to her as I know they will change. Your friends are probably jealous as I bet they would like it done too. x

Jealousy makes people spiteful, believe me they would have them done in an instant honey,they are so jealous and when they are all settled and you have your confidence I would buy the best push up bra the lowest top,to show them off,yes they will be even more jealous but you will feel great,you are boobie beautiful and they cant bare it,your hubby is right.xxx keep smiling hun,you will have your day with these so called friends believe me,xxx

I think it probably is jealousy – but that still doesn’t explain their reactions. I’m jealous of some of my friends but I don’t act mean and spiteful toward them – I’m as nice and complimentary as I am to other people – because they’re my friends and its not their fault I’m a jealous freak lol! You should do a bit of a “friend” clear out I think x

one of my friends has wanted them done for years, the other has a decent pair (but has yet to have babies!!!! i have 4!!!) maybe they were showing off god knows, could have done without it though xxx

your friends sound like a bunch of insecure bitches! (hope you dont mind me saying that hunn) that’s just mean, they are suppose to be there come rain or shine. i’m sure you look fab! luckily almost all my friends have been great, the one that’s been a cow is a natural DD so it may be a case of ‘the only gay in the village’ syndrome *rolls eyes* all the best chick xx

Honestly, i’m not sure they are jealous if they had that reaction, but they certainly don’t seem to have any idea how insensitive they were being!! Most people have preconceived notions pf what fake boobs look like (high up, round, FAKE etc), and because they rarely see anyone who actually HAS fake boobs, they just expect them to be awful. I didn’t show anyone my boobs for ages. I’m only just starting now at 8 weeks, because as soon as i came out i knew they weren’t fit for viewing LOL. Way too high up and square. Didn’t look like boobs at all.

Sorry you went through this hun. Just think, you’re a pioneer now If your friends are anything like mine, you’ll have people coming out of teh woodwork over the next few months going hmmm i always wanted mine done…. did it hurt? LOL. (((hugs))) on here you know we understand xxxx

hey, thanks for your kind words, as ive said earlier so nice to have contact with people who know exactly what youre going through. saw one of the friends today and 2bh i think they are bored of me rattling on about them so i didnt really mention them, i will bide my time to when i can wear a bigfatfxxkoff push up bra and then see there reactions!!!) xxxx
