From consultation to surgery

How long did you guys have to wait? Am I being too optimistic to be wanting to get my consultation in the next couple of weeks and get them done between 14th december – 26th january? (I want them done before my 19th!) I am worried that if I leave it too long I will chicken out!

I went for my consultation on saturday and want my op around christmas, struggling for availability…. Not sure what Januarys like or if all clinics are the same. My PA is trying to sort something out for me but if I stick to the surgeon I originally planned for I might have to wait until my next lot of holidays from work x

Oh dammmn ha ha which one you going to? I am going to birmingham Well, I am pretty sure I break up from uni in may/june till september so i guess i could suck it up and wait….i just want it asap! xx

there’s always your easter hols at uni if you don’t manage to get in over xmas xx

I went for my first PC consultation last Thursday and booked for surgery on 23rd Dec but was very lucky as he was fully booked by my PC actually rang the surgeon and he agreed to squueze me in x

If u let ur pc know u don’t mind a last min appointment u may get one sooner u also get money off volunteering for this xx

Thanks for replying guys. I would like it asap obviously but with university I’d need to squeeze it in, in those times or wait until the easter holidays (not sure when that is) but semesters don’t last very long at uni, pretty sure as I said im only there till may, im just being an egar beaver
