Fuming with mya

Well my operation was meant to be tomorrow morning with mya received a phone call at 5pm sorry we can’t do your procedure tomorrow ‘we can’t accommodate for you’, we are going to ‘see’ if your surgeon will change her plans and operate on you on Friday but if not we will give you a refund!!!!!!! Are they being serious?!

They have my 3600 sitting in there bank account and this is how I have been treated! Surely all their clinics aren’t full and surely they could have given a lot more notice than 12 hours!

I’m hoping they ‘can’ fit me in on Friday because I have built myself up for this operation its not asif ik going to get my nails done I am getting a MAJOR operation! I am so gutted ands upset and was looking forward to tomorrow cant believe how I have been treated

Fingers crossed! As may have been amazing up until now and I will lose out on a massive amount of money from work if I can’t have them fir just so gutted!!!! Been waiting for this day to come for a long time and my dreams have been shattered

I hope you can get it sorted and MYA should have told you way before if they couldnt do it, and if you have paid all that money they should accomodate you and the date that you booked for!

Thats the only negative I have about them, as I had to ring and ask them my admission time cuz of travelling nd stuff.

Please try and sort this, the is means so Much to me, I can’t stop crying! I haven’t done anything wrong and Had my dream taken away from me! I have even told my patient co ordiantor I will change to a night patient and even change clinics / surgeons. I have planned for big boobs for so long and just can’t cope, I am truly devastated

aimeeoxx,I can see that you must be devastated honey,and none of this is your fault,but its not that girls fault either honey,and MYA have a duty of care to her too,sometimes things happen that no one has control of,if that sick girl was you,you would want them to do whatever it takes to make you better sweetie,you will get your boobs honey don’t worry,its just a little set back,I believe in fate,and for some reason fate said it was’nt your turn tomorrow,but it will be,and lets hope who ever that girl is in your room has a speedy recovery,we are all thinking of you aimeeoxx,and not one of us would want to feel how your feeling right now,big hugs honey.xxx

This might not be my only hiccup! I have took 2 weeks off over Christmas and work cant giv me thrum days bak I have to take them! I am absolutely devastated as I may not even be able to have my breast augmentation after all, and none of it down to my one fault I amansolutely gutted andbjust feelnasif my dreams have been shattered

And I know Its not the girls fault either Tina, but it’s a hospital people are bound to get sick, they should have other beds to accommodate for those ppl

I think that’s the thing,the reason people have to have specific dates is because of surgeon availability honey and bed space,they are private hospitals,so beds will always be assigned to a patient,its such a shame that this has happened to you,I am sure MYA will sort something out for you honey,I really hope they do,easy for me to say because Im not in your shoes,try stay positive,see what happens in the next 24 hrs,fingers crossed for you.xxx

Wow, I was so shocked reading this. I knew MYA were bad to deal with but this is disgusting!! Aimee, I really hope you get sorted hun. This must be so awful for you. MYA should be ashamed!! But unfortunately it is another case of “once they have your money they don’t give a crap” xx

Tracy I can’t stop crying!! I’ve been upp all night… Alls they have said is there is nothing they can do.. Apparantly there ‘trying’ to fit me in tomorrow, but they can’t get ‘a surgeon’ to confirrm to do me!! Plus work have said because its the end of the year I have no choice than to take my holidays, so today or tomorrow is the only time I can have them done untill after july next year!! Another thing is I’ve even offered to swap surgeons, clinics and even hospitals.. Still no reply! Tjey have 48hrs to perform a simple ba and send me home but no they cnt even squeeze me in, I’ve text and rung mya all morning and still had no response, I’m so stressed and upset about this whole situation I just wish someone would call me and tell me iys all going to be okay and ill have my boobs for xmas one way or another!! And pkus I bet ya the girls who are in today have only paid a deposit were as I have paid the full amount and being treated like this!! Ohhhh and one more thing, last night after being told I couldn’t have my op the hospital rung and asked if I was all sorted for my op tomorrow!!!!! I was like are yiou joking do you not communicate, apparantly u can’t accomodate for me and she knew notjing about it!

Omg aimee that’s terrible unbelievable that a big company like mya with so many surgeons and clinics up and down the country can’t accommodate you after you’ve paid for your op in full. Can you not get ure money back and go with another company? I’m sorry to read your story I hope you sort this out as its a stressful op to go thro let alone all this on top its so unfair keep us updated x x x

my op got cancelled on the day!!! but thankfully my pc got me fitted in 2 days after and the hospital moved everyone about! i hope they get this sorted for you! i was a rigt state, i understand how you feel xx

Aimee I totally understand 100% why you are so upset. Can’t believe no-one has been in touch with you. It’s ok MOD saying they are doing all they can but the time is ticking away and the least they could do is let you know. I know you will have prepared yourself for this op today and have got everything sorted. Im keeping everything crossed for you. This is terrible of MYA!!!!!

aimeeoxx I am sure the powers that be will be trying to sort this out for you,that is probably why no one has been in touch,the day is’nt over yet honey.Stay positive.Try to take deep breaths,go for a little walk,take your phone so you don’t miss a call,or even put dvd on watch a film anything to take your mind off this,if only for a couple of hours, so your blood pressure is’nt through the roof,that the last thing you need if you get too stressed,and this does go ahead.

Supercoops I can imagine specific surgeons will be assigned theatre space in hospitals up and down the country,but no one knows if some ones operation runs over,for whatever reason,a patient may have complications,they would have a duty of care no matter how long that surgery ran over to make sure that patient was given the best care,one of our members the other day had to go back to theatre because she had problems,she is at home now recovering,and thanking MYA,they would’nt give out specific admission times if we could just be slot in anywhere,so I don’t think its a case of how many hospitals and surgeons they have.

It just seems asif nobody knows that there talking about!

Its a hospital, some patients are bound to get sick and therefore should have an emergency room for this and accomodate for her so it doesn’t delay other procedures! I would ewxcpect this off the nhs but not fron a private clinic! Last night my pacient coordinator said they have a hospital bed and an anesthiast jusr waiting on a surgeon, now a different girl has called me because apparantly the other girl has left her phone at the eclinic, and that’s why no one has returned my calls.. What a coincedence! And she says that there just speaking to the hopsital to see what they can do, didn’t no anything about just waiting for a surgeon to be confirmed like I was told last night.. Sooo now I’m waiting toll lunchtime to find out what’s going on.. Great!

Honey these things happen,we are human beings we are not perfect,you only need one link in the chain to go and communication can break down, but I am sure mya will do everything they can to help you and ive known instances where they’ve done everything they can and managed to sort something a the last minute they would not want to lose out on an operation,and they do not want you to be stressed to death and unhappy,have faith honey,we are all here hoping and praying they come through for you,we just have to be positive,massive hugs,xxx

I think Aimee is probably more upset by the lack of communication from MYA! This was her big day which she has mentally prepared herself for and arranged the time off work! I think it goes without saying we would all have been uterly devestated if this had happened to any of us – I know I would have been! Lets hope MYA get something sorted for Aimee xx

Yayyy I’m in the hospital waiting for my operation now!! And girls it was all myas fault, they forgot to put me down for my operation helena has just told me! Soo there wasno girl sick, it was because they forgot about me.. Nevertheless I’m here now waiting for my operation xxx

MYA – wot a shambles!!!!!! My location and date was changed 6 days pre op and my PC sorted everyhing to make sure that everything was sorted out 100% – thank god for my PC is all i can say.
