Getting a new nose > Advise please x

So im booked in for an open rhino with dr g on the 10th may @ highgate.

As the days go on im getin more nervouse. Doubting my decision etc.

Really would love to see some pictures before.after just to calm my nerves.

Havent got much support so Id really appreciate some honest advise.

I had mine 2nd Feb and wish I’d done it years ago. Open septo with graft.

Dr G really knows his stuff.

I don’t have many pictures up yet, just rubbish at taking them, but happy to answer any questions.

This is also the best place to come for support, wouldn’t have gotten through it without this forum!

Whats a septo with graft?

How did you find the procedure? Im so scared of the after results!

They take some of the cartilage they remove from the top and graft it to the bottom of the nose, not quite sure why, I think it gives definition.

The procedure was completely painless, honestly, the only thing is the sore throat from the pack, but have plenty of fruit juice to hand. I will admit I found the recovery a bit horrible (I’m 43) but it was so worth it, wish I’d done it years ago! X
