    hi girls,

im 6 days post op .. was just wondering how long we have to leave it before we can lift our arms up aobove our heads and other physical stuff ..

my daughter is 7 months old and its driving me mad not being able to pick her up .. i could easily do it but obv i dont want to do any damage to the healing process , plus im also stressing that when i am all healed, constantly picking her up is gona make them drop or something lol …

any one any ideas ? x

its a gradual process hun, after the 1 week mark each day your able to lift your arms slightly more each day, by the time your 3 weeks to a month po your should be pretty much back to normal, obviously everyone is diffrent, but i found by 3 weeks i could do everything normally like i would before my ba xx

I’m 4 days post op and I can lift my arms fine. Ive just put my hair into a bun and pulled a jumper Over my head. Don’t know if I should be doing this but it doesn’t hurt. Not going to risk picking my children up yet tho. Everyone heals and different speeds I guess xxx

I know it’s temping but I wouldn’t lift her till at least uve had your post op with nurse and see what’s she says. There will be plenty of cuddles to make up for before u know it. My 18 month old is sat on me as we speak but she can climb up me so I don’t have to lift xx
