Hey all. I’m due in for my op on the 20th and am really hoping to be back into work for the 22nd. I am one of two assistant managers who pretty much take charge of running the cpompany so my being back as soon as possible is quite essential. I do have the option of just sitting about answering phones and doing admin stuff all day though if that helps. Do you think this is a realistic goal or am I completely kidding myself here?
I just had a laproscopy on Saturday which I am recovering from now and to be honest I felt pretty rubbish afterwards, however that was under general anesthetic and I was kept in due to complications, for this op I am only having local.
My job is quite relaxed, I pretty much live there…mostly by choice as I enjoy it and I have lovely, supportive colleagues and staff.
I’ve been with the company for 15 months but have only been assistant manager since the start of November, I don’t want to seem like I am taking the piss by having two operations in one month. Eventhough one was for health reasons.

    Any thoughts?

I had twilight and was out of order for 3 days…couldnt even open a door for 2. I think the 24th would be more realistic but still too early I believe.
