Getting my tape off!!

Just spoke to the nurse about my bandages. They are so tight and uncomfortable and I’m sweating underneath them gross!!! She told me to go into my clinic (Birmingham) tomorrow and she will squeeze me in and take them off early woo hoo! Still got to go to my proper post op on Friday though xx

Did mine earlier, such a relief. Shame your post op is friday, mine is sat at brimingham, could have had a boobie catch up haha

Awwww would of been nice to meet you Sallyt I said to the nurse that mr singh’s ladies were allowed to take it off themselves at 4 days po and she said she strongly advises me to go in clinic and the she does it to reduce infection risk etc… as im doing it early. Plus I don’t want to ignore her as it may invalidate my guarantees if I don’t do as I’m told. Peeled a little back earlier and I’m reacting to the tape so it’s gotta come off ASAP xx

Yea you have to listen to what they say as everyone is different. Are you going on the London might out?

I wasn’t but I’m coming round to the idea. I’m going to ask a friend of mine if she’d up for coming with me as I don’t wanna travel on and stay on my own. I’m from Leicester and haven’t been to London since I was a kid. Are you going?xx

yea i took mine off and it took my skin off so had to go into clinic (birmingham) 1 day earlier then again a week later to have them checked. and gotta go back because i pulled my stitch, they aint rang me tho. hate travelling there its a 4 hour round trip on the bus xx

Oh no pinky! I’m definately gunna wait until tomorrow and go Birmingham. It’s a 45 min drive each way so not too bad just a shame they can’t do my post op at the same time xx

i know thats pants, i would of thought they’d change your dressings and get you to come back next week like me. i know it was horrible, went all green, they said i had a reaction to the tape. now i have a scar but hopefully it will fade to nothing xx

O no! Mine seem ok at the min but I think my sports bra has stuck to the sticky bits haha. I think we should arrange a Birmingham night out once everyone is recovered too
