getting really cross with MYA…. feeling totally clueless

Well as some of you know op was postponed 3 days before surgery…. Since then I’m just clueless as to what’s happening, thwy don’t contact me to update me, I have to contact them, but it seems mya is telling me one thing but my gp is saying something else… I’m clueless as to what’s happening all I want is another date booked and I can relax, it feels like now they have the money they just don’t care, they have had payment 2 months now. 3850 is a lot of money to not even be told what’s happening.. starting to wish I had gone elsewere. Sorry to moan its just annoying me xx

I wrote a post almost identical a week ago. Since then, MYA mod got onto it, and my PC phoned me to sort things out. Now I have my op rebooked and have (finally) had the go ahead from GP and hemtotologist. I’m sure once MYA mod sees this post, you will be contacted by your PC!

I totally understand the stuck between MYA and GP…I was like that for months and I didn’t really understand what one wanted from the other etc…

I think its probably a case of they wont ring you if they don’t have any news, and to be honest the GPs don’t rush,when you ring the GP everything seems to be in an admin queue. hope you hear something soon honey. This must be very stressful for you.xxx

I have spoken to my pc of which has been great, shes done all she can, I was just confused with what the receptionist said and the gp. I’m Happy with my pc and understand that somethings are just complicated, but speaking to louisa it turns out its my gp’s faults and not mya, they are messing everyone about. But I now have a date booked 16th march that’s all been well that gp gives go ahead xx

Huni if you can go to the doctors and see them face to face I was ringing them for days asking why they hadn’t sent the necessary information over, they didn’t no. The moment I went in there they sorted it out and faxed the info across!

I went in 4x in 1 week lol they don’t seem to understand how bad they mess with peoples feelings. If your GP doesnt communicate back with MYA they probably will keep postponing your op but on the positive it is for your own health saftey and to ensure that when you have your op you are in the best health possible…

dont worry hun the day will come soon and you will have the best boobies….im loving mine so much and i promise you it is worth any wait;)
