FIRSTLY she doesnt answer the phone for days or reply to texts, and then when I finally do get hold of her she didn’t know who I am or have my file handy? Surely in this day and age MYA aren’t just relying on hard copies of our files?! Everytime I say can I call u tomo she says yep and then ignores her phone. I wouldn’t mind but I’m not pestering her about things (got the forum for that aye!) I’m actually trying to effing pay for my procedure!
THEN I get thru to her and have to roll my eyes while I remind her how much my procedure costs and how much I’ve paid and even then had to remind her I want to pay extra to upgrade to inspira, then wait while she uses a calculator to take £500 deposit off £6500..then i still have to remind her to add £308 for inspiras again!!! ANYWAY Ii give her my card details n was chuffed coz got to move my op to June 16th soooo soon! Then get a call 5mins later saying its declined n I should call my bank n see what’s up. Thought that’s weird cz it’s defo in there maybe they just stop it when it’s such a large amount. Called my bank n they looked into it and said that infact it wasnt my bank stopping the payment it was at MYAs end and they need to do a security check and it’ll go thru fine. Told my PC all this n she tries again n tx me ‘not working’. I was like FAAAACCKK SAKE!! I asked my bank if it’s anything I can do n they said nope it’s the retailers end. So I’m thinking shite how am I gna pay for this as she clearly isnt listening that its THEIR PROBLEM NOT MY BANKS. Asked her if there’s account deets so I can do a transfer myself, which she then tx me. I did a transfer n it says it transferrs immediately. I tx her saying that I’d done it n could she confirm it’s got to the right place safely as its defo left my bank account! ‘will confirm tomorrow x’……tomorrow comes and NOTHING. I’ve tx her this morning too saying can you get in touch please coz I’ve just spent £6500 and I’d like to know its safe. It’s a lot of money and I can’t relax until its confirmed n she just ignores my messages.
Just makes me worry because I feel like I’ll get to my op and the implants won’t be there or she’s put me in a time slot too short cz my i op is 3hrs cz BA and open rhino as same time. Got pre op nx wed in Holburn instead of Upper Wimpole n asked to see a diff PC to try on implants under top n double check sizes (also my bf is coming and wants to see haha) but I’m gonna ask SO MANY QUESTIONS and proper make sure my implants are ordered etc etc. BUT that doesn’t help me now 6 grand down and no receipt or acknowledgement.
SO SO SORRY for the rant girls I know it’s boring but you all know when your stressed about having surgery the last thing u need is extra money worries and not feeling looked after. I know PCs have a lot of patients and a lot of work to do but when your spending nearly £7000 total I’d like to be made to feel a bit more reasurred. I’m probably just stressed and exaggerating. Lol.
