After an initial very bad impression from my first consultation with MYA, I decided to give it a second chance since I had calls from the head office following my initial complaint and they assigned me a new pc. So went for a second consultation with new pc and surgeon consultation on the same day. Made my decision to go ahead with my BA with Mya and set my date for July 5th with Mr Russo.
Had several calls from the accounts department asking for payment (which is fine since the terms and conditions say that you need to pay the full balance 56 days before op) however every time they called me I was either driving or busy and I have always double checked the figures. So last Thursday I finally paid my full remaining balance. At the time of the payment I even checked with Emma/ Anna if it included the nipple lift (recommended by Mr. Russo) and the kind of implants. She checked and double checked that the amount was correct and I gave her my debit card details over the phone.
Then today I got a call from another girl from the accounts department saying that I have an outstanding balance to pay of 850 pounds?!?!?!
Then I explained to the girl on the phone the above and she said she was going to check with my pc.
This is a bit worrying/ concerning that they get 2 different amounts and there seems to be some sort of miscommunication internally. If for payment it is like that, it makes me start wondering about other things: ie. will they order the correct implants? Will the hospital be informed of my medical allergies (penicillin ). Etc……
Not a happy bunny at the moment, specially because I checked and double checked with accounts payable about the full amount of the remaining balance, they confirmed, I make the funds available, pay what they asked me just to be told a few days later that I still owe them money?

dont worry about that…Bad communication is common there as i see:-) i had several calls from call centere…that i have outstanding blance after i talk with my pc abot conditions of paying and everything was alright they still call me from call centre (i think) the woman who calls me never introduce herself, just ask my name ..and then saing that i have outstanding balance and she calls from mya… to be honest its very annoying explaining someone 10 times the same thing…but even more rude is not introducing yourself when u calling someone…
hey hun, just regarding the latter part of your message – i have allergies to wheat and penicillin and when i got to the hospital they were all fully aware of this so i am sure that the implants and allergies side of this will be fine

the organisation doesn’t seem to be the best with mya..
i’m paying my full balance around a month before my BA when i see my surgeon, which is way less than 56 days but was agreed with my pc etc
so then a week later mya ring me and say i have to pay them now or my op could be cancelled?! my pc sorted it out but i was worried for a while.
also mya rang me this week to say they were moving my surgeons appointment by 45 mins.. so i text my pc to check and she said that my original appointment time is correct. what if i’d gone 45 mins late?? it doesn’t seem to be the pcs that are the problem (mine are great) just the actual company/call centre
Thank you lovelies for your messages. My pc called me the following day but I was at work and I could not speak to her.
I really hope I do not have to pay 850 on top of everything I have paid!

I am sooo looking forward to my BA though.. and I just really hope that they are disorganised only with the finance department!!!
