Girls critising MYA

Just to say I have read so many negative comments on here before and after getting my boobs. Some girls being worse. This is a forum so opinions are welcome but its ridiculous for certain people to try and get other girls against MYA. I am only 9 days PO and have had no faults whatsoever. Even reading posts now about girls hating MYA for their boobs because they’re not what they expected or size is too small etc before my op didn’t put me off. Make sure you research properly and see different companys and surgeons. Don’t just let the surgeon decide and then blame them. Any pre-op girls that are having doubts because of certain people then don’t let other people put you off. I enjoyed my op day and I would do it all again… and through MYA! My PC and surgeon have been amazing and I wouldn’t change having my op for the world! I will put my story up tomorrow xx

I must be honest…This forum helped me SO much, and so many girls have been lovely and helpful…but I’m in the research stage and starting to doubt if I’m making the right decision! xxx

I agree with u ellemay. Its sad that ppl pay attention to the bad storys more than the good. I’ve found mya by far the best company, heard nothing but great things about them for years always was recommended to me! I researched and I’m confident I have choose the best and they haven’t disappointed me! Cares been fantastic up 2 now I’m 3 weeks po xxx

hsquibb, i have two weeks to go to my op and ellymay is right. researcg first and have proper realistic targets and remember everyBODY is different and will heal differently, so if not exactly up to peoples expectations, well it probably would be the same result where ever you went. If you have doubts then maybe you are not quite ready yet. I have thought about it a long long time and now I am having boobs come hell or high water! lol. seriously, most of the help and comments on here are good. Good luch to you anyway.x

I have to agree with you we had the same op day surgeon and time and we both thoroughly enjoyed our day and had a good gossip over our new boobs in the hospital. I would not change it. I’m glad I didn’t actually read too much on here before my op as I’m a proper worrier! I was lucky to of had my friend who used mya 2 years ago and her boobs are amazing so she done all the rearch and I jumped in 2 years later and used her surgeon and mya!! I have no complaints and my boobs are looking amazing already and I’ve been in no pain which is a plus and I’m so much happier already x

Mr. Adamo and had 470cc from a 32nothing. Sounds big but I think they’re just right for my body and I trusted Mr. Adamo completely and don’t regret it for a minute!! If you do decide to use MYA then carefully pick what surgeons right for you and you’ll be fine. There is only a few people on here that hate theirs and tbh its just boob greed because if its to do with size or shape then its their own fault and they need to stop moaning. YOU chose the size, the surgeon just suggests xx

Ive paid some more off my balance today and I’m getting very excited now! People are obviously allowed opinions and so far I’m more than happy with the service im receiving x

I dont think that MYA think it should be all rosy why would they pay for this forum when they could just keep it covered up?.People should not be discouraged from writing their account of their journey on the forum, but we should remember that there are two sides to every story. Remember, the surgeons and PC’s don’t have accounts so they are unable to defend their selves so people should bear this in mind when they are considering negative posts. Every individual should research their own procedure thoroughly and ask for a wide range of opinions and perspectives even if they are negative, thankfully MYA have given us this forum to be able to do that.I also think that MYA will take on board what people are saying and use that information to hopefully continually improve the service they do provide.xxx

Agreed ticky, I posted on here before about the open evening in Cardiff being crap, and within five mins my PC text me saying sorry of I was dissappointed lol. Big brother is always watching on here xx

I persoanlly think its good to see both sides of the mya service, because without the nwgative comments mya would be unaware of what they need to improve on, my experiance was a good one, but its just as important for people to see both sides xx

End of the day surely people should be able to be completley honest….everyone has a right to their own opinion. I’m sure there is no company in the world where things haven’t gone wrong….and every customer is happy. I’ve been on this forum for months now and I’ve not really come across people making me feel in any way against MYA, people have just advised and aired if they feel like they’ve been mistreated or it hasn’t gone smoothly. It’s good the see the story from both sides. I think everyone has their own right to say what they feel, it’s a forum? xxx

I agree nikki….there are positives and negatives with every company….no company is 100% perfect, there is always room for improvement and sometimes I think ‘negatives’ can be turned into ‘positives’….I don’t think it’s fair to criticise people for sharing their experiences, nobody criticises anyone when they post a ‘positive’ story so why should those girls who haven’t had as good an experience not be able to tell their story! Xx

Exactly plus MYA won’t know what to change surely if they can’t see what’s gone wrong? I’m sure as a company they are not stupid, they know by having a forum available it isn’t always going to be positive, so by having a MYA mod they can sort out problems with are aired on here xxx

I haven’t said that people aren’t allowed to tell their story I have just read some stories on here recently of people being negative against MYA because of themselves not doing research. MYA mod closed a post yesterday that was negative. I am just saying to pre op girls do your research and don’t be worried about girl’s stories on here that are negative because ive seen a lot of posts being like ‘i was guna get a boob job but this has scared me and now im not sure’ xxx

When I was in the days leading upto my ba i had to stop reading some of the posts on here because they made me really doubt my decision to have a ba in the first place, however I went with my gut instinct and believe that as long as you pick a reputable company (which MYA is) and a surgeon with a good reputation for what you are trying to achieve then you have done all you can do. There is always a chance with any kind of plastic surgery that the results will be undesirable. Xx
